today after getting up & showering i was eating raisin bran crunch when my dad came at me with this list of things i had to do in the next couple of days. the list is as follows fill up the gas tank mow the lawn blow off the roof (with a leaf blower) blow off the sidewalks rake up the debris from the blowings put debris in a garbage can & bring it to the street so i finished eating breakfast & got in the car & began driving. when i reached the gas station i decided to pass it & drive around for some reason. i then entered a nice neighborhood which had a large pond/small lake. after a while i turned around & got gas. upon returning home i got out the lawn mower & started work on a long overdue lawn. it ran out of gas three times before i finished & since i live in hot humid florida i took a break each time. then i put the mower back in the shed & locked it up. when it came time to start the blowing i realised that the extension cord was in the shed & my dad who was at work had the key, so ill save that stuff for tomarrow. after an endless fog of doing nothing for hours i got restless & went for a very long walk to that neighborhood i visited earlier in my car. i kept looking for places to go up to the water & hang out there but it was completely blocked off by rich peoples houses. eventually i found an area that had picknick tables, a place to put boats into the water, & a small dock. i was about to get on the dock & hang out there but there was a no trespassing sign so i turned around & went home. from then on continues the restless fog of doing nothing including the posting of this pointless story on this message board. The End. |

I guess... in some cultures this would be considered..... art... of some sort... There's something fairly depressing about that story... not how its written.. just..... how it hits me... just makes me a little depressed..... |

Actually I like this story. It's very real. Probably because it actually happened. It just makes me think of the kinds of things that I do with my time. Like walking through nicer neighborhoods that have a little park and a pond. And a "Residents only" sign up saying that because I don't live in some big ritzy glamorous house I'm not good enough to go into their park. I've seen your children you rich snobs, they're ugly. So fuck you! Anyway. I like your story. |
