Yeah, the book/novell that i'm writting is an adventure world where there are orcs, Ghals, elvs, blue elvs, dwarfs, and many more! The book is about a young thief who was set up by a princess who rules over a city named The city of Rakha. His name is Kel'zul and his best friends name is Jval'anun. And he must stop a betrayer, Hel'kul, the orc god and the most powerful being in entire Earthlo, his name...Arshul. But there is a problem couse he must come with a choice and those two choices are ::which path will you take? to evil and get more greater power than Arshul and be the most ultimate being that the thing ever wanted to create, or take the path to the light and free the people of Earthlo:: but the choices are harder. If he takes the path of evil he saves the princess from certain death and saves his best friend. If he take the light his friends, generals and many people will die. Ok about the betrayer: If you really want to know i need atleast 10 votes of ::Yes i vote for knowing who the betrayer is:: and for no i need 10 no for not knowing for who he is. Arshul: This is the enemy whom Kel'zul will face in the end and who will win the battle? (there will be a suprise for you if you buy it ;)) Do you wanna know more? |

We have a writing section of the forum for stuff like this. We have lots of writers here, so I'm sure you'll be quite welcome.
At the risk of sounding mean, this concept sounds like your standard Dnd/LotR fantasy. I firmly believe that an average concept can be overcome by strong execution though, so I'll reserve my judgement. |

I have to agree that the storyline sounds pretty generic, but if you can lose me in the world and its culture then I'll forgive you.
Do you have any writing to show us? I'm interested in hearing more about those blue elves.

Hmmm, as with everyone else, such is a story I could point out a hundred fold in the right book shop, and on the internet many million more. But that aside, also as with the other, if you write it well that will not matter. So, get the hint? Write well or we'll lynch you!

dang, I wish I could write like you. I've always wanted to be a writer, but it doesn't blend well with my natural laziness.
