Original question: How do you cound in SRS? (Already asked)

Some general things I couldn't fathom (probably for lack of trying <_< ):

SRS has a word for color but no degrees of color?
Is there a thread where mods or drsl lf srf wannabes assign names to nouns in sld dts and beyond (I imagine all the sarus addicts would want a untaken name)? or is the srs community evolving the language on its own?
What about combining the different ways to express the language? Like Yu-Yus pointing to a word or symbol and displaying a specific color or sound, or sound with colors? Although double and triple talk would get rather annoying, and that's if you leave out hand motions...
What's the status/necesity for counting?

Maybe for green we could say "tree color" and for Blue say "sky color" etc. Might be a cool way to go about it. but then you could always say "that tree is tree color" for "that tree is green" what do you think?

the numbers aren't incorporated into the vocab yet, but colours are expressed according to their Sarus equivalents..

for example:

d, r, m, f, s, l, t

is

r, o, y, g, b, i, v (seven colours of the rainbow).

the word for colour is mlm.
To say orange, you say mlm r (colour orange)

black is mlm srf (colour dark)
white is mlm frs (colour light)
grey is mlm flf (colour cloud)

then you can probably work out the others, but usually it's enough to use your imagination. Most important is to put mlm at the beginning, so others know that you're talking about a colour.

pink is mlm frs d (colour light red)
brown is mlm srf r (colour dark orange)
aqua is mlm f s (colour green blue)

if you wanted to say bluey-purple, then you can invent something yourself... as long as it's clear enough to understand when translated.
Something like mlm s rsd t (colour blue some violet) would be fine.
