Simply put, how do you write something so that is very funny. I mean, yeah, there are a lot of different kinds of funny; irony, slapstick, stupid, etc. But what is it that makes these things funny. How does one go about writing something that is knee-slappingly funny? Yeah, I do want to write a funny script and I need your peoples help. What makes funny funny? Please reply.

funny. Well funny can come in many shapes and size's. Can go base on looks or actions. There are a lot of things that can add to the funny. Here is a idea. Vs Rade in a doodle battle to see funny. Thats just one. I think the best look for funny is a cartoonnetwork sorta look.

Funny is a matter of opinion. It depends on your mood, too. If you're in a bad mood, perhaps you'll find human suffering hilarious. If you're in a good mood, perhaps everything will be funny. Random could be funny, absurd could be funny, etc. "Funny" is relative to the subject who is laughing(or not laughing) |

I find karma funny, like in the Brackenwood's with Bitey. It's hilarious when he gets his come-uppences.

A lot of what makes funny funny is the well know art of Timing. I suggest to watch some stand up, Lewis Black is a good one. |

If my two cents are worth anything here, bascally all that is considered funny, when put into the context of a well planned, timed joke, always has something to do with flaws and foybles, defects, human suffering, and basically a negative or "different" view on things, or just you'r average expression of anger and frustration may be funny. (I've gone off on many a raving rant that I intended to be serious, but then my "audience" is laughing in the end...) Yer other option of funny would be anything unexpected and absurd. Its simply the unexpected factor of this type of hilarity that catches the audience. But, what do I know, eh? Watch (or read) some George Carlin, Denis Leary, watch and episode of "The Daily Show, with John Stewart", and, as earlier mentioned, Lewis Black is a great example of a dynamic comedian... |

Funny is essentially the exploitation of humanities sadistic side, people laugh at suffering, misfortune, and also laugh at stupid things, because they feel superior to the "fools" On the other hand, people can laugh at cleverness and wit, they laugh because they're astounded at how something works out. |
