Whoa Psy, big improvement! I might put just a touch of atmospheric haze on the second row of hills, but otherwise it looks beautiful. The bunny has gotten much better too. :P

Hey Psybola,

One quick look at your deviantart-- and one can see the scope of your progression! More bunnies!! :bitey:
------------------------------------

This picture will be my last static pose EVER. It's about time I started pushing their stances and actions.

Thanks AK! Yes, bunnies and more bunnies is what the doctor ordered. *Twitch twitch* I like your characters AK! I've seen your stuff before on DeviantART and you have definitely improved! By no more static, do you just mean more dynamic poses or are actually going to try to animate them?

Hey Mikisis, that's a pretty good start! Get some eel and bird reference and draw a second picture; we don't have any serpentine creatures in the thread yet and we need 'em. We're stupid with mammal critters right now. :P

Replax, I really like the cold lighting and the way you've done his fur. He's got human-in-a-fursuit syndrome right now though; I'd at least make him stand on his toes like a dog rather than be flat-footed.

Hey Replax! :bfoot:

The texture on that fella is just brilliant! The way you've curved the horizon line with the trees and mountains works quite well--- it brings a dramatic tone to the picture.

If you look carefully, though, the mountains/trees on the right side of the picture don't follow that same trend in curvature-- interrupting the continuity.

When you're plotting out the scene from the beginning, try making a temporary 'horizon line' in a noticeable colour that you can build upon. It'll help keep everything straight. ;)

Also, the lighting on his hair/shadow doesn't quite match up with the light coming from the moon. It appears as though light is coming from the left side of the picture, though we can clearly see the moon is in the middle.

This sort of thing can be easily fixed in the early stages of the drawing:
Picture (or draw) a few radiant lines eminating from the moon(or light source), and see how they strike him. You can then make out how many of the the highlights/shadows will be cast on him.

Sorry if that's more critique than you were interested in... :yfok:

It's a fine painting regardless!-- keep it up!

Really Nice Replax!

Love the effect of the fur that you have got going, and the shadow is great, like paintslinger said all i can notice is that the moon should be a bit further over, not too difficult to sort out though!

Keep up the great work mate!

On one of the pieces my friends and I were given for Jazz band this semester, someone had written "do-doo-be-doo-bot" under a difficult string of notes.

Nice, Bardaux!

i like the first one as a marker more... it seems to have more depth than the vectorized version.... and the second one loses a lot (all) of its variation in shading... but still looks cool vectorized.

Bardaux,

The second one is just smashing after you saturated it!--- You should make a fan poster, using the black space at the bottom to put lettering in!! :bing:
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Antiseal, you should finish out the color on that robot!-- Looks like you've already got a great idea of the lighting and reflection going on. :bitey:

Hmm.. a poster. Good idea, I should do it!
In the meantime, here's somn I finished last night:

5 hours
24x30cm
Pencil [2H, 2B, 5B, 6B]
Scanned then readjusted tone (My scanner isn't that good so it looked worse than the original. The digital copy still looks worse, there's light glares- how annoying. Anyone know how to prevent that?)
