I made the sketch thread for people who seeked intense crits,as a way to help artists improve faster,and guess what,its actually been working.The forum hardly had any art posts before that thread was created,it was tumbleweed. Its done on most art forums,and not for people who just want comments like *WOW thats excellent*. Yeh u get crits in look at my stuff too,but how many threads in here have people long crits and paintovers? I was hoping the DST would be made into a critique forum like over on concept art and cgtalk,because i know some people just can't handle crits. People that thought there where shit and didn't want to *showcase* there work in look at my stuff ,where ,and still are able to come to DST. Like most art forums the *Look at my stuff * type sections, are for posting finished art that the artist usually isn't willing to go back too and correct huge mistakes,t,they just want peoples opinions on whether its likeable or not and make tiny tweaks. soTHIS thread is basically look at my stuff forum thrown into one thread,which i find strange. so don't be throwin dumbass names around callin me a hypocrit.The DST is no way similar other than the fact thats its a thread.Its like a Work in progress thread/sketch thread. This is also why i didn't agree with the *watcha working on* thread either,i got annoyed that people where posting finished works in the DST and fishing for compliments too,i think humble misunderstood and posted WatchaWorkinOn thread because he thought people didn't want to see coloured work in the DST.Which i have no problem with,just aslong as its in progress,i just want people to improve and ask for advice,and not post 2 year old work and say *is this cool?* I know I speak in these forums as if i am a Mod or some kinda royality,put thats just my nature,at the end of the day all i want to do is help,and whether mods are on my ass all time calling me names and disagreeing with everything i say for no reason *especially you yembles,fuck knows what ur like that to me* i'm still gunna keep at it.
