You should consider changing your name, cantdraw05....
It's hard to crit the nice loose style you have, but I will say one thing. You can still work on shading the cloth. What I see, you used single brush strokes to define wrinkles, but remember that the whole back bart of the cloth is gonna be in shadows because, well, light isn't hitting it!

And doing slick clean lines is tricky, especially with brush tools. You can try using the pen tool to make lines, then do Stroke Path to actually make the lines. Or try making the lines in Illustrator. Looks good still, like the style!

I was messing around in Painter and ended up with something I liked a lot. I really like that program. Anyway, heres what I drew:

Man, you're improving heaps!
2 crits:

1. the way her breasts are shaped is awkward, they defy gravity!
2. she would definatly cut her hand honding the blade that way?

actaully those breast are pretty much in the right place women with a smaller chest womens chest tend to defy gravity. Also she's leaning forward slightly so it's unlikely they hang down... anyways off this sunject  boundless that drawing is just wow

barduax i like the coloring ALOT! it looks amazing, so it kills me to say this.... lol sorry, but it jsut sturck me straight away, when looking at it.... the proportions on the legs are totally wrong!, i mean imagine her standing up, her legs are looking too small in my opinion.....
besides that it looks great! keep up the good work, all you have to do is get the proportions right, then you coloring is amazing, so jsut keep up the saem standards, and u will get better and better!

That looks realy nice cantdraw05=) You're anatomy is getting quite good.
but:

I think the bone on her left wrist should have been moved to the other side. (facing outside, not inside) (just look at your own hand)

If you'll try to imagine her rightshoulder (since it's hidden behind that "eskimo-fur") it ends up pretty high. So that looks a bit unatureal.

her head: the gap between her right eye and right ear seems a bit big. Atleast compared to gap between her left eye, and left ear.

But other than that its realy good I think. Those flaws you did wasn't realy that obious either^^

Arvid... That name sounds sooo Norwegian :D

Cantdraw, something we can both work on is shading and tone. I was talking to this AMAZING concepual artist for video games and he looked at my stuff. One thing he told me was that color is the last thing to worry about, and learning tone and value is essential. That is, practice and look at real life, etc, to see how light affects and object and its shadows. With your ice pic, I thought it was a pregnant woman because there is little shading. It's ok not to have a solid beam light source, but there should be some method to shading. If you don't want to shade something as if it is lit from a direct source, you can still define form and edges by shading more around the edges of things.

This is true, infact, if your tones and values are right pretty much any color will work out. That's why some artists (including me) often sketch in black and white and to focus on the values and glaze over the colors.

*edit* Oh Bardaux, who was the guy? Does he have a site?

No, no website that I know of. The guy worked at a place in my town called "Nihilistic Software", a gaming company. I was visiting because one of my friends interned there and I wanted to check the place out, possibly to get a part-time summer job. Nihilistic has made "Vampire: the Masquerade", "Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects", and worked briefly on "Starcraft: Ghost" before Blizzard switched developers. They are working on a PS3 game now, I can't say anything about it because I signed an agreement, but it is looking damn sweet.

that looks GREAT cel...except it would look better if the hair didn't look like it had 35 lbs. (or kilos) or gel in it...
Make it flow like the collar...and it will look sooooo much better..(though it already looks great!)

Nice. Love the beefy forearm, but the line going across her arm at the elbow isn't correct. The line that trails off going into her upper arm is.

Put a little color or highlight into her eyes, and give her some facial expression. Her face is a little freaky. Your ear placement is better this time around, but it should be higher.

You've got a tangent line where her left arm meets her butt. Overlap that slightly or move them apart.

Good weightshift on the hips and shoulders; as far as I can tell it's correct. :)

Her left shoulder is low, but just slightly. The top half of her back could stand to be twisted a little more, I think. Pretty close overall.

Great colors. I love the style of your work... But your line quality could stand to be cleaned up. Either spend more time going over it with a brush set to 100% opacity (not black), or invest in a vector software like Flash or Illustrator. I think you could do same amazing things with vector.

That looks really nice. It kinda looks like her left brest is pushed completely to the side maybe stretch the shadow underneath it a little more to the right so it doesnt look so flat. Thats what i see but other then that it looks great! You think your going to make posters and stuff of these? If no you wernt i would suggest it for the future... ya know something to do on the side.
