i really like the group of flowers over on the right side. the sky is cool too. i think the painting could do with a bit of cropping - there alot of blank grass at the bottom. other than that... i like it! gj |

Uhm...

Rade... pick one thread to post your stuff in... this thread would be better for that particular one. There's no need to post the same thing in the finished art, and WIP threads... especially when essentially the same thing is in your signature. |

yeh it was done in oils, but i think the wash or watever ya call it, the first color was just a thin layer of acryllic.

Hey Ravenseye-- What a great use of silhouette in that picture! You've some potential for some serious bone chilling going on there. ![]() ![]() I did some quick photoshop with it to give you some ideas to improve it: - If you tone down the saturation a little, the painting becomes a little easier on the eyes, and dark/light figures will stand out better. - Brighten up the moon and add highlights/shading to the clouds around it! You can study some great examples of similar styles here. (though you may have to wait--- DA's site it down at the moment.) |

Yeah, I can see what you mean. I havn't dicided wheter or not I should go back and fix that though; the water drop is only meant to be played once in the actual animation that it is going to be used in. Do you think I SHOULD fix it? |

put one or two frames after them so they get smaller or break apart in air. that would look better ^^ |

Actually, I did that, and those few extra frames made a suprisingly HUGE difference. I prolly could've figured that out on my own, but prolly wouldn't have done anything if someone didn't point it out. -Thank you for the tip. |
