It's very good! The problem is the axe blade, it should be more bigger.
I love the rose and the light. Good job ;)

Yea, tommo, fanart is almost expected to be lesser than the original work.. that's why it has 'fans'.

Laura: Really like it, especially the rose, good work and keep up the fannings...seriously I'm hot here fan fan! :P
Don't be afraid to do your own work either (which I know you're not since I look at your DeviantART). You friend better be happy with your interpretation or Ill get the scythe and takeit to their heart than shove roses into the most fertile of soils...ooo sorry need to go take my sanity pills

Calcifer: oo my poor neck. Love it , very funky. I especially like the moon. Is it staying black and white or will you be adding colour. I quite like it black and white but it would be interesting to see how you would go about colouring it

raven: thanks.. I don't know how It started.. I think it was when I did a picture of myself saying "i'm a sh*t", and I just kept the idea for every drawing :)

tommo: thanks.. eheheh.. I think snippy looks abit like Locke from LOST... either way... it was a good one for me..

speedy: thanks.. :) I try my best to make them realistic and add depth..
You say Gothic like it's a bad thing? It's not intentionally gothic.. neither am I.. gothic.. my older pictures used to be kinda wacky and comical.. I find I get a better reaction after I darken them up... they're more serious and effective.
I dunno.. they just happen.. I can't really change it.. neither do I want to.. lol...

I got 2 more.. that i've just completed... they contain penes so I shall just post the links...

"Forget about it" (nudity warning)

"I concede.." (nudity warning)

They ARE gothic!-- according to merriam-webster:

"Main Entry: 1Goth·ic
Pronunciation: 'gä-thik
Function: adjective

often not capitalized : of or relating to a style of fiction characterized by the use of desolate or remote settings and macabre, mysterious, or violent incidents"

Your work is a damned fine example of 'gothic' artwork, dieselboy! :)

On the first part of the journey, I was looking at all the life.
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz and the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot but the ground was dry and the air was full of sound

Ehehehe,, well, I never said they weren't.. I just find it hard to label my work..
I guess Gothic would be ONE of words of choice. Yeah. Yeah. :)

Thanks. Now that song is stuck in my head.

Ive been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
cause there aint no one for to give you no pain
La, la ...

Nice picture though, reminded me of the song right away.

And dieselboy I would describe your work as "troubled surrealism" B)
