Not bad, akiraoni!

The final animation of Kermit turned out very nicely, and I liked how you stopped the pan a little bit when it passed the trash can, but it was a little short, and beyond the obvious point of "sesame street has gone bad" there's not a whole lot to it.

Loved the animation though! :bing:

I spent WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY too long on this... and then I rushed through the hair 'cause I was so sick of working on it. The left (your right) hand was pretty rushed, too. Oh well. It's just for national self portrait day.

Crits? Comments? I'd love to hear 'em.

well i used a number 2 pencil
a pilot precise rollingball extra fine pen for inking (but i hate it with a passion)
and to color i used my 24 set of crayola color pencils.

you cant really see it but there is little swirly magic around donalds feet because he is flying. i didnt relize it wasnt dark enugh before i scanned the picture and the scanner is not mine so i didnt want to be annoying to the owner of the scanner.

We're drawing two coloured illustrations for school tomorrow.
It's for the book about the giant and the girl by Roald Dahl.
So we got two pages to read and make two drawings out of it.

It's supposed to be for kids, so I tried to keep it simple.
Havent realy drawn/painted much for ages on the pc becasue of all the traditional drawing at the drawing Academy. It was realy hard starting CGpainting again =o

here's the original scanned ones

And here was my first attempt. But I never got the colours right, so I just stopped working on it. Did'nt like the drawing either

:bing: The B.F.G. (Big Friendly Giant)

That was my favorite book in first grade. I used to read it almost everyday with my friend Jon. Once we read it about four times through, we decided to read it backwards and upside down.

OK anyways, it's a terrific book. In fact, I think they may have made an animated movie a while back.

If I can, I'll try to dig up a picture or two from the movie if you'd like. Overall, your style looks almost the same as their's (movie people) if I remember correctly. Beautiful drawings... (even if they are a bit rusty)

Keep up the good work, :bfoot:

Zigity

Edit:

The trailer can be found here

And the only good picture I could find of the BFG was there too.

thats pretty good, but before you do fan art, you should understand how the people that made the origional characters construct them

I was almost done really, I just had to add on a few things and make corrections that's all and I wanted to go throught the day finishing something and publishing it before I go to bed and I rushed it and it was a REALLY BAD move and I wont do that again! Good artist are patient and dont publish half/assed work claiming they are good. So, if I dont finish something within that day, then just sleep, and finish later. Partial of this work showed how patient I was and this not that great outcome showed how greedy I was. Oh, well, I wont make a move like this again.

(btw, I foolishly shrinkin my canvas constanly just to fit this forum and because of that I messed up, as well)
