So I was trying new ways to shade and more colours.Please tell me what you think of it Edit: found some white areas that was covered by the backround colour

My suggestion is to drop shading or coloring and lining anything right now. Get the basics down first, go buy some sketch pencils, sit down in a park, and try gesture drawing some of the people on a sketch pad, work up to getting the anatomy down, study the nude figure, find out how it moves and looks in different positions and conditions. Also try looking at a few muscle diagrams. The first step is forgetting everything you think you know about drawing... and then draw. Work at it and i promise your quality of work will skyrocket

(an explanation will probably make it unfunny but oh well) Its making fun of medics who blindly run out to resuscitate people, while ignoring the fact that the enemy is still there. (the triangle thingie is a defibrillator) Not that I'm not guilty of it too, but it's still easy to make fun of. :rolleyes:

I used a reference as I still need to work on my anatomy. This is the first big piece I've done on my cintiq and I'm quite happy with it. Harsh C&Cs are always welcome as I'm eager to improve

I cheated I tad, I did a paint over outline of my reference but the face (which is why it's so bad) was all me. Other than the basic outline all the paintwork's mine with the occasional glimps at the picture to see where the shadows lie and to make sure I didn't put muscles in the wrong place. It hasn't really been over night. I haven't posted anything in ages because of this. "Missing Micah" isn't that far off this either but I posted that...ages back edit: david hasn't seen it finished yet edit: Thanks to Espen and CLiNK for their advice The face wouldn't have been anywhere near as good without you
