 Here is a little something I've been working on today. I'm not pleased with the quality of the image after I saved it, it's not as crisp as I had hoped. Maybe it's the resolution I was working at.  I haven't drawn with my tablet in sooo long... Any crits? (I know how shitty the tail is...  )

Hey Cole, nice to see you around again.
 I really like the picture. The tail is off because it's going tangent with the face, but if you changed that it's a darn nice pose. The quiet arrogance and disapproval really comes through. |

Here's an animation I did for my multimedia assignment last year. Unfortionatley I have only an uncompleted version of the file I was working on. Can't find the finished file so must have saved the wrong file from tafe. Luckily the quicktime version was saved, but had to upload it to youtube. This Is Jill |

It's nice to "be around" again. Thanks for the crit Ang. I understand waht you are saying, but can't really put it on paper. I guess I'm gonna have to do a tail study or something. Will prolly look at monkeys. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute more to this thread again. I'm looking forward to May's comp. Make it a good'un.

Watch your back ton! Next thing you know the traditionalists are gonna come out of the woodwork and break your legs. (That whole Anime prejudice; they never seem to get over it) Now, i like them alot, you actually have a cool style, very gothic in its own right, (aesthetically speaking) my only crits are proportional. - In the first pic the lips arent centered right, slightly lopsided becuase it goes againt the line of vertical symmetry for the face. otherwise great, maybe a tad blurry. -In the second pic, it seems his shoulders should be a bit broad for the proportion of his head, also the neck tappers out a bit too much at the end. -In the third pick it seems her neck is off center, and the necklines curve out and suggest that the neck will get fatter further down, but the collar contradicts that observation which tends to throw off the viewer, also the neck seems a bit long and you might want to amp the torso size up a little more. Besides the proporional stuff its looking rad, i'de be interested in seeing your full-body pieces. |

wow...everything is said what could be said except in the third pic i guess the ears are a lot too big for the head, the must be between the lowest point of the nose to the eyebrow...but nonetheless i like them somehow the second one reminds me of a girl from that anime neon genesis evangelion xD maybe cause of the blue hair |

Very nice Tonne90, I like drawing manga too, the only real problem I see is her eyes are a little off. I think they're too far apart and slightly off with the foreshortening, otherwise is still good

Nice work Colesif. I love the *cool cat* (I am gonna call it) face looks great. Crit > Both ears on the little dude are on the one side of the head kinda made me go huh!? I think that the foot in the background of the little dude is a little too small. |
