Yeah I kinda liked it Narubi!
Especially the trees down there ;-]

These type of drawings are the things I'd use to decorate my house instead of some silly Van Gogh or Picasso or Monet (if I had the money).

Nice stuff Narubi, you definately have the skills. The piece is very green though so try adding the occasionaly subtle shade of other colours such as brown to break it up a little. Also painting your darkest colours first then building up on that with your lighter colours I find works really well. Keep it up! :)

Awesome paintings Narubi, though here's some personal advice on how to improve them.
Firstly, as Pillow stated, break up the colours a bit.
Dont be afraid to experiment, maybe even put a bit of a dark desaturated purple on the mountains shadows.

Another big thing is that you should never rely on custom brushes.
Its a bad habit to get into.
Try paint a full picture with a big, round, default brush.
Give it a try, and only when you have finally finished with details do you then think about adding a very small amount of custom brushes to add to certain effects.

Last but not least, paint big to small.
I cannot stress this enough.

Start with a large brush, and practically paint out the whole thing with this, then begin to go through, and add little details, like some smaller trees, or some detailed lines on the mountain. This is a big point not to be forgotten.

Keep up the good work however, its truly looking great :D

ok I know it's not a finished picture, but I'll post it here since I've gotten all the response here..

thx for the C&C guys.. rly helps alot :)

This is a fast sketch I did on the stuff you guys told me to test out.

Pillow: I tried doing the dark first then lighten the different spots after, actually made the picture seem more real..

effin: dude, thx for taking the time to tell me all that  u can't imagin how much that helped.. I tried out the "don't rely on custom brush" thing.. I just painted with regualar brushes, looks kinda crappy some places, but the whole idea for this painting was to try out the dark first thingy :P

thx again for the help, and I will try my hardest to improve the period I have vacation:D maybe I get even better then Espen:D hahaxD

I don't know where his face is :/, im not good at faces so I kind of avoided it. Im gonna do some stuff now though, have to learn.

I like the style of the comic alot, very entertaining to watch. Only thing I can comment on is the ending, I was waiting for some kind of punchline etc. Unless its just a piece of a smaller comic and she would continue past the snake into the snakes cave or something? Nice job anyhow =)

well yea there really isn't any punch line its not one of those short strips...i was aiming for a story and the teacher told me not to make it too long. there was more that would have happened after...she would have taken the snake home for dinner to her grandma or something feed the kittens and there was an entire community of katz and stuff and stories but i got discouraged when the teacher gave me a freakin 60 for the work i put into it the jerk!!! ~sigh :yfok:

Or in other words, where do I buy one?

[Edit}
