thats pretty good for your first attempt Purple, theres some nice rythm with the circles, but its missing alot of form in the figure, it looks like hes surrounded by light.

those look cool Accordo, the hand doesnt look too bad to me, but its lighting looks off relative to the rest of the lighting in the shot which has the key light coming from where the camera is but the hand isnt lit up at all from that spot, only from the fill light on the right. You are talking about the hand in the drink thing aye?

I like the rocket one

Not bad but you should add more color beside 2 plain colors, theres also alot of negativ space, maybe if added curtains or a window in the background while making it it would be kind of cool. Overall its pretty cool though, was this made with oil pastels btw?

I giant poster I made for art class, its uses news articles about the war, the recession, ELF and many others to show my point of America. It has a poem by my brother in the top frame, and a "created by" on the bottom. The poem is.

we will rise up from indifference
seeded in a land so full of hate
and we will grow up from under
to tear down this fascist state

cause you plant the seeds of revolution
we only help them grow
despite all of your delusions
we'll make sure you reap just what you sow

a state that feels like a prison
in a land of poverty and toil
homegrown terrorism
anarchy grown in fertile soil

- Thomas Burns.

So I made myself an ink sleeve today. Or three-quarter sleeve, at least. I might get myself a real tat eventually, but for now I'm happy with the stuff that washes off. :P

I do so. Lots of Ranches around here... so that doesnt narrow the field of who it could be by much..... :P

Awesome work Clutter and Gnort both. Im very much impressed with both of those portraits. Really dig the killer ape as well Gnort. Keep up the great work you two. :bfoot:

I have a tattoo convention coming up this weekend. We needed a shop banner to hang at our booth, and the shops apprentice asked if she could make it. Being as she is a pretty good artist both myself and my partner agreed. That was a mistake.... she showed up last week with a painted sheet that I wouldnt have hung at a craft show, let alone at a convention where it was going to represent us! :yfok:

That left me with only a few days to whip something up. I finished the shop banner, and then decided to do one for both my partner and I as well.

About 20 ish hours work alltogether. Acrylic Ink and poster board. Wish I had had more time to refine them a bit more, I will do that in the 2 month lull between this convention and the next one we are scheduled at however.

I do have one crit because it is a major problem you seem to have overlooked. Most artists figure when they do an art piece that this part of the art will make people remember the artists name. And that would be your signature B)

 What the hell are you little dickens up to?

Thirsty, your style is so much fun. I love the ghost's design! I might make the smaller arm get a little bigger where it contacts the body. It looks like (noodly arm)----(Body)==---(regular arm) right now.

This is real old but it sat around forever and never had a background so I put it on the computer and made a quick background, and thought I'd show you guys. He's the element known as earth, I made the other three elements, too, but they kinda stink. Anyone like him?
