Large picture warning!

I spent last week making these for my siblings. The origonals are 13"x19" at 300 dpi, so I scaled these down alot.

Hey, Markham, great paintings! It's very thoughtful for you to have drawn those for your siblings... I can see individual characteristics in each one. ^_^
The second one is very realistic. I'm sure they were quite pleased.

Welcome to the forums, Erska! :bfoot:
I really like your style of drawing-- the sense of lighting is excellent and the shading/colours are very pleasant to the eye!

err ahh hehe needs sum work dude...

PHOTSHOP FOR TEH NOOBS:
TIP 1: first of all take two pictures that have the light coming from about the same direction.

TIP 2: if you have fur joining together use a small smudge brush and work in the direction of the hair in that area.

TIP 3: use the clone tool. ctrl and click in a spot relativley the same as what u want to put in another area then jsut draw where u want to put it and it will come up liek magic, dont worry i cant explain it for shit but u will see wat i mean when u try it...
After cloning. smudge with small brush as in tip 2, if it dusnt join up properly.

TIP 4: If where u have worked on looks a bit blurry or shit, just chuck a little gaussian blur over the whole thing. that is if u have worked on everything on a seperate layer, or else if its all on the same layer what u have worked on will jsut look even shitter and...... your screwed!

Yes,he's all those things at the same time,he's a regular weekend warrior. His hobbies are dining at exotic restaurants, sleeping with his concubines, hacking people's heads off,and conquering other civilizations in his spare time.He also enjoys long walks on the beach.

uhhhh, canadian special forces unit? I don't remember that one.Was it an uncanny x-men issue in the early 90's?If so it was all a blur i was only like 10 at the time.I was probably too busy reading GROO,hehe.Ya know intelectual stuff.

Will not really a Canadian special force.

But i'm sure you knew of Captain America(Steve Rogers) and Wolverine(Logan) being friends during WWI and WWII.

I love this quote from Wolverine.

Yeah,ok.i know what yer talkin' about.I don't remember what they were, some kinda special group thingy, like it matters what it was called really, hehe.

I wish i had gotten into comics more.It was already a quite expensive hobby. So i only stuck to a few series.I mostly followed what certain comic artists did. Most stories were pretty much the same recycled stuff anyways really.

nice jubjub, the only thing i noticed at a quick glance was the hammer is flat. try to make it look more three-dimensional.
also, his left hand is to far back, which is also taking away from the 3d-ness.
great picture though man, i really like your stuff! :)

That is a very nice drawing you have there jubbby, but with a quick glance I see something sorta off.

If you take a look at your upper chest and then take a look at this anatomy for the chest region that I scanned from one of my new christmas presents, then you will see what I mean:

TORSO ANATOMY - Contains lower body muscle'ege, so, I guess i should say Nudity? Um yea

But anyways jubby, if you see in that picture, they show a smaller space than what you drew between the pecks and the neck, like I think theres a bone missing (the Clavicle - or coller bone (sp on coller))

Its really hard to explain what Im seeing in the difference between the two pictures, just have a look and maybe you'll be able to see the same thing.

Seeing as in your sketch is done, you wont be fixing this, its just a little thing for you to remember next time; (dont kill me :gasp: )
