This happened just this weekend, starting on Friday, Jan. 20 (2006 of course). It's roughly late afternoon, if I remember correctly. As usual, I'm in front of my computer typing away and I think I see a shadow to my right. Right out of the corner of my eye. I glance over to see who/what it is, but no one's there. I thought it was one of those shadow people that was mentioned on another online forum and didn't really think anything beyond that. Then I get mild stabbing pains in my chest. Considering how often I've had these pains, I've considered them almost natrual now. Suddenly, I get this sharp burning sensation right in my back as though someone just shoved a burning stick into my side. I jumped (nearly screaming in pain) and turned, yet no one was there. I wake up in the morning (Well...afternoon, really.) and that spot is stinging. I check, no marks or any hint of injury. o_O Beyond the next night and into the early hours of the morning... I'm lying in bed very early (I'd say about 4:15 or 4:20) and I start to hear some rather loud voices outside my window. My lamp was on and I didn't want whoever was out there to know I was watching, so I was practically frozen on my bed. There were two voices that faded in. The first voice was someone counting down from a minute and the second voice kept laughing and was saying stuff like "hey, c'mon man" and such stuff like that. They sounded more like the pranksters you'd get at school, yet these were unnatural. It souded like it was right in my ear, yet in the direction of the window. As the voices went down to the last ten seconds, they faded away. I heard a very faint, yet distinctive "1" at the end, but nothing happened. I shut off my lamp, turn on some music, and manage to fall asleep after another hour. (How? Who knows, really. Must've been exhausted.) When I woke up that afternoon, I got up and looked outside for any footprints. Now, we had snow and mud, so if anyone was physically there, there would've been footprints. But there wasn't any... I haven't had anything of that sort since then, but still...creepy. And my side still aches from the 'jab', too. |

I had a friend that lived ON a cemetary. He lived in a house on the property and he didn't have to pay rent,he just had to open up the gates in the morning and close em at night, and take care of the grass and all that.He had the most quiet neighbors in the world he'd say, hehe.Felt creepy to be there though, especially at night. Anyways, how long have you lived there, and has anything like this happened before? |

I honestly would suggest seeing a doctor. It seems like your trying to blame this pain on a ghostly spirit or something, when it could be a serious medical problem. |

wow...haven't posted in here in awhile... Anyway, I've already been checked out about that. The doc said that everything looked normal. Either I have a strange imagination or a bad doctor.

If by this point you're used to getting pains in your chest, I would get that checked out by docter immediately. That really doesn't sound healthy. But, on a similar note: One time I was waiting in the car at a cemetary and began to slowly suffocate, the windows were open and I couldn't figure out why I was having all this trouble breathing. |

The shadow in the darkness...
|
Don't listen to them trying to make u beleive the most reasonable explanation u were visited by spirits and u know it and u others u should be ashamed that u thought nothing was wrong. Wat happened was not normal ignoring it never works i would suggest getting a priest or medium to come to ur house and check it out. |

The haugbui (from haugr meaning "howe" or "barrow") was a mound-dweller, the dead body living on within its tomb. The haugbui was rarely found far from its burial place. The undead is supposed to be a physical body, the actual corpse of the deceased. Kinda like a zombie. |

ok this could be two things. 1. you have a really bad haunting 2. your nervous system rebooted soo fast that it caused you to feel sudden pains (ive had this happen its when you wake up and move your body to fast and its a very rare thing) and it causes stinging and very painfull burning senations. Also those voices could have been caused by lack of sleep. I'll send you some meds if you want jk.....~Emerald |

I hate posting things that have litterally happend to me cous i feel ill be criticized but this is one of like 3 small events of supernatural things that have happend to me. There always small and i dont really think about them but after reading this and hearing about some shadow form i feel i must respond to this thread. I recall when i was like 9 i was sitting infront of our heater in the basement. A shadowy figure walked right through my house as if it were passing by. It wasnt violent or unpleasent or anything strange about it to me. It litterally looked like a shadow just walking along the walls threw the house and right out the window. Ive always tryed to explain it to my self by figuring out what could have made it but i just get stumped beacuse it was night out. I was the only one down stairs when i was watching t.v. and this happend and i had a clear view up the stairs and no one was walking by and there was no light that could have made a shadow at that angle. Hearing about this shadow ghost thing shen said in his story just made me wonder if anyone had information on this to maybe help explain this weird event that happend. It was fast like 10 seconds fast. |

So, you see a shadow out of the corner of your eye. Then you pull a muscle. Then you hear some people walking past you window. Wow, that must be supernatural, everone knows that eyes don't see, muscles don't pull and people NEVER walk past windows! |

Alright, there's critisism, the're is sarcasm, but this is just cruel! The pains, I gotta say, are not nesicairly supernatural. Sometimes, after a long day, things just stab here and there. I have it all the time. But even more logical would be: - You're reading a thread about some shadowy ghost. - You THINK you see something in the corner of your eyes (once again, based on my "You see what you wanna see" theory) - You feel the standard pains in your chest, thinking "The Ghost is attacking me", and because you tell yourself the ghost is, you feel a burning feeling on your back. Your back is uncovered, you feel unsafe and as a reflex, you jump up and scream. (Bah, I hate this part. I read up and hear what I just typed with te voice of Doctor Phill <_< ) What happened next seems like a more clear sign of a ghost, IF not your inmagination. It was late, you were tired (at least you say you fell asleep soon after). I inmagine things too when I'm tired. I think you've got nothing to worry about so far, but if you have more signs like this, please post a new thread. I'd be happy to give you a second oppinion
Look, dudio; This guy asks for our oppinions. Some say; "Could be the worst ghost out there" other say "Meh, I don't think it was supernatural". Don't go cracking on other people's post; Respect eithother's oppinion, cirisize if you feel like, and give your own, but most importantly; DONT FREAK HIM OUT! |

chill mr phil!!! I agree that what you said was rude krall. If you dont enjoy whats going on just leave the thread. If you were in shens situation you may feel different. I hope it was a ghost shen. That would mean that there is life after death and thats the only question i ever want answered! Im pritty sure when i die it will be like when im sleeping and i wake up the next morning and didnt even realized that 8 hours just passed. Thats what i figure deaths going to be like ... that in between time when you dont remember anything. So like i said i hope it is a ghost and that we do have a purpose after we die ... even if it is to scare the balls out of people. |
