![]() The rules for these tasks Basically, each week you'll be given a rough guideline to follow. Anything you want to add is completely up to you. The main idea is just to have fun and improve at animating. This week's Animate That is: What's more fun than fist-fights? Throwing fights! Pick some nasty objects and throw them at each other! Don't forget all-o-them deadly tools like kitchen knives, bathtubs and shaving blades! Some things to consider: What will your characters throw at each other? How will they react? Will they get hit? If so, what will happen? The Focus: Don't worry about getting the people to pick the objects up, just make them appear in their hands or something instantaneously. The throwing/dodging is the focus. The objects play an important role, but don't spend too much time detailing them. Instead, focus on the actions of the people throwing and avoiding the various objects. Consider different actions, eg: "Ninja-style throwing", diving out of the way of something rather heavy or pointy, etc. If you wish, though, you can limit yourself to ducking and dodging on the spot - if done right this can be quite effective.HAVE FUN!

Noob!, looking hot... the WIP that is. one crit: when the ball hits him in the neck, the neck does not move forward and his head snaps back, now its all good to have the head snapping back but the neck didnt move forward until the frame after the main impact. Welcome jabronimon, erm i think you may have the wrong idea about this... vec said 'what's more fun than fist fights? Throwing fights!' Implying that the theme of this exercise is to animate objects being thrown at a person, not fist fighting... unless he was beating away objects

Well, you could be naughty and go to the page that you've linked us to. Right-click >> view source, and search for .swf . then just copy the whole url for the swf file and use that. For example, in your one it has
in the source code. The bit you'd need is the http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/4044/anim...hatentry7ek.swf part. You know your movie is 550x400 pixels, so you just go
and it should work. |
