Nice pics, Esn. Really reminiscent of the good old Group of Seven. And thanks for posting that one of the cabin by the lake. It helped me solve a problem I've been having in an animation! Whose brilliant idea was this post? Yay! Here's one taken in the sand dunes outside Ica, Peru. ![]() kib |

I REALLY like: kib's photograph (wow )jcpaid4me's 2nd one PVC-blue robot's 2nd one (love the texture!) However perhaps it would be better to encourage people to do what I did and put thumbnails in your posts if you can instead of posting full pictures - otherwise this thread takes longer to load for everyone and the image hosts will sometimes stop showing your picture if too much bandwidth gets taken up. Plus it makes it easier to scroll through. Both imageshack and photobucket allow you to use thumbnails - in photobucket you just have to click "show image tags" after selecting 1 or more of your photos and it'll give you a bunch of code that you can copy & paste. So anyway, just a suggestion - I think it might be a good idea... EDIT: And people quoting entire huge photographs in order to write a short response takes up a lot of space too. But anyway, I think I might be getting a bit too grumpy for my own good.

whoa sweet as, photgraphy is coming alive! this should be swell, well, i really like that sand dunes one, it's all sillouette like and cool, nice kib. whoa jack (jcpaid4me) i really like that one of aden its sweet as. esn, i like your last forest picture too it makes me happy. and louis, or uh green robot, you know very well already how much i lkie that alcatraz toilet of yours. um well here are a few of my own: number one: well i got the original stock photgraph from a photshop magazine i bought one day, which came on a free Cd thing, and i used effects to modify it and make it olden days style: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/Pin...ast-NoText2.jpg number two: i took a photo of a sunset whilst holidaying in my home city in new zealand, and i edited it but like both of them, so they are both on the same image below: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/Pin...nglandscape.png number three: also taken in newzealand, whilst my brother and i sat at these docks waiting for a boat to arrive and take us on a journey, edited to make it look cool, though i dont like it all that much anymore: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/Pin.../atthedocks.jpg last and least: i liked the idea, monopoly is awesome, thankyou milton bradley, but i done a really bad job and hope to make a better version some time soon: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/Pin...onopolyedit.jpg these were all edited in photoshop 7.0, um i hope someone likes atleast one of them. -jordan. |

Some beautiful stuff in here, guys. (great idea, Vector! ;)) Fatty fat fatsack, might I request you show #3 with slight or no photo edition? I think it'd make a beautiful picture but the minimal colors make the picture a little hard to digest at first. Here's two from a ski trip I took with two friends: ![]()

jcpaid I love the reflection play. Great alternate view of the world. pvc Do you have a high-res version? I'd love to make a painting from that bathroom pic. fatty That Notre Dame cathedral is almost timeless. I can see the filter stylings like your pic in the Finished Art Thread. Gorgeous. FB That's an awesome view. I am guessing that you cropped pretty severly, or do you have a good macro setting? Some minor airbrushing in PS would bring down the hot spots on the flesh... Malakym I remember when that photo came out. I was bummed to find out it was a composite but it makes more sense that way (I wonder if the penumbra is really that narrow?) Great to see it again. ak Awesome snow shots. Great exposure in the trees on the first one. Who says snow is white? Glad you're putting that Northern living to good use Glad you all liked that sand dunes shot. My wife was shooting in "burst 3" mode where it took three shots in quick succession. It still took us about five tries in the fading light to get the shot we wanted. My thighs were burning after climbing up and running down in that soft, soft sand so many times. Here are some from a Whirling Dervish open meditation session in Istanbul. ![]() ![]() Loving this thread. Great idea, Vector. kib |

whoa kib those dancing ones are pretty sweet, i liek the first one, the green suit reminds me of what the red paintings lead singer (trash) wore whilst playing at the big day out 05, so awesome it was, and yeah the original of the lake was probably better:![]() i am also going to work on getting rid of all the annoying stuff there, liek the stuff that makes it look to modern. but yeah if i do that il put it back up on here and kib do you mind if i muck around with some effects and such on those pictures you took? i really like them.
