I would hate to live in your area Espen, I hate snow. Hasn't snowed in my town for 33 years!!! Never snowed here in my entire life seeing as how I'm only 16. But all in all, nice scene there. |

To Vector: Sweet camera man. Get a tripod and try some HDR photography. This camera will be able to do it no problem, as you can work with raw file formats. I'm trying to attempt some HDR photography at the moment but i need a tripod. And time. If you don't know what HDR photography is, research it man, honestly you'll love it! http://www.flickr.com/groups/hdr/ is one good source of info on HDR photos. It can look great and shit, but it comes with time. Basically HDR means, high dynamic range, and hdr photography is the process of using 3-5 photos each with varying EV settings/exposures from -2.0 ev - 2.0 ev, overlaid and the result is phenomenal. It basically captures the highest details in the darkened areas, and lightest areas and makes a photo look surreal yet detailed as hell!. Example of HDR phtography: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/150/3579557...6959169.jpg?v=0 This is a little extreme, and can make images look 3D like in appearance, but there are other examples that use it better. I particularly like this one. I chose it to portray the surreal effect you can achieve. (ps i didnt take this) If you have PhotoShop CS2, it has a HDR enabled feature that will help you compile and over lay your images. It isnt a photoshop effect, but you do need PS CS2 or Photomatix to create HDR images apparently. To comlock: good eyes! thats a great idea, take a pic of clouds and draw animals over the top of them. Nice pics espen. |
