I really like "A Helping Hand", Pillow; it's well framed. I've got 6,000 or so images on my pc, but i'm too lazy to sort through them and pot my favorites, so I'll just throw on some that I got while at our lake cabin a couple days ago. Jet Ski Skier |

Sony Cyber-shot® DSC-S600 Digital Camera Pretty reasonable price too, mainly I just wanted something to take photos for a website I'm working on but this one seems versalite enough to do even more. Highly recommended! |

Ah, you have a DSC series too. I have the Sony Cybershot DSC-T5/B. It's a nice camera, I like the sleek and thin design. I wanted something that would take nice and decent pictures, but was also small and easy to transport. Although this is now $199.99, I bought it at $249.99

Look at the bright side, you've been using it longer The only complaint that I have is the zoom only goes 3x optical, but for under $200 I can live with it. |

Yea true. I have captured a lot since then, priceless moments so it was worth it. Although, I also wish it went more than 3x in zoom. You can pull it up to 5x if you kick in the digital zoom, but that causes it to get a slight grain to it. But I personaly like my pictures to be crystal clear. I should post more on my pictures soon..... |

I've got a few more pictures to add I just thought this looked cool ![]() This too ![]() Here's a lizard. Just want to let everyone know this little fucker was quick, I chased him for about 30 minutes round and round a piece of playground equipment, and I took dozens of photos. Most were blurry on account of his speed. I like colors in this one ![]() and this is a decent closeup ![]() not the best shot, but it shows how pissed he was

That one is awsome. The aging of the door makes me wonder what kind of mysterious things are behind it. Also, great job in using that sepia tone. Nice work there. |

Believe it or not I didn't edit this one bit, no sepia tone at all. I took that picture in an alley that catches the hot Florida sun almost all day. I'm glad you liked it. |

Looks like you're having fun with your new-fangled camera, one2many.
I like your close-ups of the various lizards!--- (especially the toad on the windowsill, and the lizard on the play equipment, his shadow being cast behind him.) Dynamic angles! Brilliant use of the flash in those two--- but you should be careful when deciding whether or not to use such a powerful tool. A the effects of a flash when taken straight on at a group of objects can flatten them, ruining a natural balance of contrast and lighting that could do without extra light. I envy the diversity of your wildlife down there!! It must be fun to be able to just walk out into the backyard and photograph lizards... We have no lizards, but every few weeks a moose will come into the yard and nibble on our trees.

Thanks, it has been fun. I agree with you that the flash can make or break a picture, so far though I have only been able to play in the evening hours so I've been kinda stuck using it. It's the weekend now and I don't have to work so I should be able to get out and take some pictures with good natural lighting. As far as the wildlife, its all fun and games until you run into a reptile big enough to eat you! Luckily there aren't any gators in my back yard (although after a heavy rain or during a drought, anything could happen). The lizards are out during the day and the frogs are there every night just like clockwork. In fact we keep the kitchen light on just to feed the tree frogs that eat the bugs attracted by the light. I've also spotted a couple of snakes, one in particular. It's a harmless black snake but its about 8 feet long and really neat looking (especially if its just eaten). You mentioned seeing only an ocassional Moose, It it beacause you live in/near a city or are you just that far North? |

You must track this behemoth down and show me pictures!! ![]() I live in the city. During colder months, the temperatures up north force the moose into town and they feast upon bark from trees... Despite their size, they're quiet ol' things. I've come within 5 feet of one while running one morning without even knowing! ![]() Good hunting!--- pictures and snakes alike!

The snake hid from me today, as did a few other things I want to keep secret until I get a picture of them. But I was able to get some good (at least I think so) shots of the vegetation here. I am building a collection of reference photos so I need all types. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I love the subject and the framing, but you may want to try backing up a bit and zooming in a little because at the wide end of your focal range you often get barrel distortion, which makes straight lines appear curved. This is especially pronounced around the edges. This can be used for effect, but it's sometimes innappropriate or uncalled for. At any rate, i'd just like to see a comparison of this shot with a "straighter" one. As soon as I decide on a watermark, i'll be back with a ton of pictures I took in Switzerland, Germany, and at our lake cabin!
