wow lots of nice photos up whilst I was away. I wanted some volcano pictures but it was cloudy in Lanzarote so the lighting was poor. I got some great pictres on the plane home though. I just couldn't resist the sky! Sorry if they're too big

Pillow those are beautiful. I envy your plane ride! It's not very often you get to take photos above the clouds. With a little cheating in Photoshop, you could probably even take out the evidence of the plane being there in a couple of those.

Thanks Ketchup! I'll give it a try sometime. Anyway here's more photos (must keep the topic going!)

I was at a Muse concert in the Manchester Evening News Arena yesterday and I managed to get standing tickets! Got there in good time and ended up standing on the third row of the mosh pit!!! YAY! You're not supposed to take a camera in (I realised AFTER getting there and I didn't want them confiscating my precious!) so I creatively nuck it in. Loads of people had camreas (I could tell because they were silly enough not to turn off flash and everyone could see them!). Since I had a good postition, though not the best as there were two rows of annoyingly tall people infront of me, I managed to get some photos of the band. Not great though as I'm in a jumping mosh pit without a tripod attempted to keep it steady. So they're not as focussed as I'd like but here they are

I saw the same concert 2 weeks ago here in Belfast. They were great. We weren't allowed to take our cameras in. Were you? and if you weren't how the hell did you manage to get a tripod in lol.

The concert rocked. Bloody nice photos you took as well!

Well we weren't allowed them either but I didn't know untill I got there. I didn't want to have my camera confiscated to never be seen agains so I creatively hid it thenmade sure I went in the que with the older man checking people's tickets, he seemed the most reluctant to search people so onlypeaked in pockets
The concert is the best I've been to by far, it completely blew me away. Thanks for the compliments on the photos. here would have been a video too but I ran out of memory and my brother had my spare card....he got pulled away by th crowd somewhere...he ended up at the very front with no one infront of him too and I was left to curse him for having my memory card and myself for being verticaly challanged.

Proof aliens exist, and they like to fly around in my backyard at 1am:

Oooooohweeeooh!  :gasp:

I had the same thing happen to me this summer!

First, I saw them between my house & the neighbors:

Then they followed me to my basement:

And even followed my friend & I on an abandonment exploring adventure!

My friend & I call it light dancing, heh. He sets the exposure for something like 15 or 30 seconds, and we'd just flail around with flashlights to make all the swirliness. It's a lot of fun! Except for doing the one in the abandonment there's some black slippery around that pillar that I slipped & fell in.

Scanned these from the proofs of my first roll of 220 medium format (the reason for the dust & white speckles). The two sets of proofs were a couple stops lighter & a couple stops darker, so they're not as crisp or properly exposed as the prints will be. Thought I'd share anyway:

A bit of an adjustment from using the 35mm.....hopefully the next roll comes out better :\ .

Great set as usual, ketchupface!

No more random light exposure, now, eh? ;)

I especially like the 4th & 5th from the bottom. You captured the difference in color temperature remarkably well.

What program are you using to frame/crop your photos?

Heh, thanks AK. I use Photoshop for cropping & framing, making good use of the recording actions function.

Here's some more I took yesterday at the Jacob Riis Elementary school in Chicago.
