*blush* Aw, thank you so much for the constructive criticism and comments! Souphoud, I did try drawing her without the pony tail, but she looks a lot more masculine without it. ._. So, I'll keep experimenting I guess until I find a design that works better for her. Perhaps thinner eyes and slightly longer fur would work. |

Actually, BCG, I think that the problem could be solved less in design, more in coloring. The Feminine Bitey doesn't have to be as obviously feminine by the design, (due to the relatively minimalistic style itself), but if she were to have bitey's skin color as her fur color, or maybe a reddish fur color, that would solve more problems than giving her a more feminine figure. I do agree on the ponytail, I don't think that should be part of her design, but she could have shorter face hair than bitey, perhaps? I think the length of the face-hair in her picture is fine. Edit: Here's what I mean. I modified your design *SLIGHTLY* for these quick sketches. ![]() Compare the color of her fur and skin to normal Bitey. Also size wise, I would assume she is slightly shorter. |

I was actually thinking of going with a lighter fur color, say white or something. And I'm looking at your sketches, very nice by the way, and I just can't help but think that her face looks very masculine due to the hair. I don't know if it's just me, but I think the face is more of a problem than anything else, that's why I added in the eyelashes, ponytail, and tail to make her look more feminine. I just know that having the hair pulled back in some way makes a character look more feminine, esspecially if it's pulled back in what's seen as a "feminine" way. Also, look at cartoons in general. The female characters are obviously female, esspecially in American cartoons, and there is no doubt about their gender. Look at Jessica Rabbit, for example. An even better example would be from any Bugs Bunny/Lonney Toons cartoon that shows a female rabbit. Her ears are usually tied back like hair, she has obvious curves, her fur is finer, she has eyelashes, and her fur is lighter and of a different color. That's sort of where I was trying to go with my sketch, except I can tie her horn back into a ponytail. XD |

True, Eyelashes are essential, I agree. I would have included them in my sketches (and did in the lineart, actually), but my mouse is not the best and my hand tends to be a bit spastic with it (must... get... wacom....), so I didn't want to take all the time and frustration refining them.
And compared to normal Bitey, her fur is lighter, though maybe not to the extent it could be. Hahah oh man, putting a bow on her horns would be hilarious... Maybe just the hair behind the head could be slightly longer? Longer face hair in general might suggest a beard... |

Walla!) After 2 hours of drawing i finaly done my vision of Bitey female, or as i called her - Blecky))) Personaly I think this name is perfect, and it starts and ends with same letters as Bitey))) I should thank Adam Phillips, becuz I used his Bitey's colors from Little Foot, and The Yuyu(only horns ).. I hope yul like it )))After drawing it, i think i feel the same pain as Adam... my hand is killing me... and this is only 1 picture... how does he make hundreds of em???
p.s. All made in Macromedia Flash 8

Ha!!! finally!!! This is awesome! I absolutely love it!!!! Her body looks a bit scrawny compared to the head, but that might just be the fur. Blecky?
heh, sounds like a nasty character
But YES!!! *applause* meh, whenever I try to draw Bitey (or Blecky ) It looks more like someone in a costume than a satyr <_<

Is that Bitey with a scarf? Anyway, looks pretty good! Did this just now: Bitey Encounters Ripper Hope you like the new satyr. I thought him up a while ago, but that's when I couldn't draw very well on Flash. His name was originally Chompy, but that doesn't sound as good as Ripper (to me at least). I also tried different types of horns, which I might post on the daily sketch thread. um...
