god it was just a fucking comment men forgive me if Im not humbleego or any other mod or even adam himself giving you or anyone a crit wich in my short year as a member of this forum honestly havnt seen just one, oh yeah probably you think you are the only one that can get a "Wow! Not everybody togather..." angry response to those who didnt even write you a word well guess what we all newbies and not so newbies in here have been there before and in case you are about to reply me with some "there are crits available for everyone in here" try looking at almost any of the Animation, Illustration threads

...btw want another crit work on that stupid cart of yours, its amazing how it doesnt even rotate a little bit on x axis or y axis..

see you all  <_<

I didnt understand half of what you've been yapping about. But oh well. When the new school year starts, be sure to take humor classes. It seems you lack the ability to understand jokes.

I'd also recommend this book: Understanding Smilies and Their Meaning.

I suppose that " :D " " :P " and " " mean I'm totally serious and trying to offend you....

*sigh*

pretty good animation you've got there kindigo.. the only few things i would say are:

-He seems like he dives into the water head-first; that'd probably leave him with blunt head trauma ;)
How to fix it: make his arms enter the water before his head.. diving 101 :D

-The way his legs bend when he's anticipating the jump looks uncomfortable
How to fix it: make the space between his legs smaller

-There's only one splash when he hits the water
How to fix it: water has weight too, so each time it impacts with another body of water, there should be a mini-splash. This should happen until there is only a few water droplets going up, at which point they droplets will impact and nothing noticable/worth animating will happen. You can fix this problem by making fractions of the splashes come up after each impact (whether it be from water or from the man himself) These mini-splashes should happen both at the initial impact, and when he resurfaces. :)

(this last one isn't really a problem as much as it is a preferance...)

-When I animate (which i don't do very often...) I usually set it to 24 fps, because it makes in-betweens a lot easier to make
How to do that with yours: if you're using flash (which I assume you are) then you can double-click where it displays your frames per second (the current reading should be 12 fps) and changing the 12 to 24. That's not all though. Now that your animation will run twice as fast, you need to double the number of frames per key-frame to keep the same amount of time for the movie as you have now. This is done by doubling the number of frames added onto each keyframe.
=If you have 1 (just the keyframe) then you add a frame to it
=If you have 2 (a keyframe and a frame) then you add two frames to it
=If you have 3 (a keyframe and 2 frames) then you add three frames to it
...etc

Other than those things though, your animation was well done. The water effects (the main focal point of it) were well done when they happened, so good work. :bing:
