hello, i was wondering how you can make a flash site wich detects the screenresolution of the viewer and adapts to it. Any of you guys know how tot do this? i am not sure if this is action script, sry if i'm posting in the wrong threath. thx |

hi killer this lines will return the actual screen resolution of the viewer:
Are you trying to publish it at a webpage? if you are then you have to remember that a webpage does not cover all the screen but if you are not this line can do the trick

well, i didn't think of a full screen before you said it. That's a good idea. But can i do a full screen site WITH the top bar still on it? (For closing and minamalising) |

As far as I know you cannot change the height and width of the Stage you can get the values with Stage.width and Stage.height but these are read only properties
what you can do is get a fullscreen and then draw a menu so you can quit it at any time:
