*edit* It's meant to say Freaky Camp Hut*edit* I went to a camp with my primary school called "Astley Burf". I dunno if anyone else has ever been, all I can say is it's in England (that's as far as my geograpy stretches :P). Well for all those who haven't been there are basically 4 huts and a camp site (a field of rabbit holes). Whereas spending a night in a tent surounded by rabbits and shadows would seem the scarier place to be the scariest things that happened there was me camping a tent on an ants nest, an earwig that wouldn't die and the zip on the tent door getting stuck when my "tent buddy" needed the toilet (which to b honest was pretty scary when I woke up with his butt pointing in my face as he triend to squeeze through the 3cm gap the zipper would allow). Instead the scary thing was Witley Cabin (they all had names). Now, loads of stories had developed about this cabin which to be honmest were more laughable than scary, for example a man getting eaten by a killer rabbit . But it was at night that when the strange things began to happen. The first thing to hit us all was the fowl smell that absolutley reeked. Now, u'd expect nothing less from a cabin with a single toilet and about 15 boys but the thing that was really strange was that this cabin had won an award for being the cleanest cabin (and it certainly wasn't this bad in the other cabins I'd slept in). Then as I started to drift into slumber I saw a shadow outside; a silhouete of a figure making its way around the back of the cabin. For a while I heard nothing, then to my horror I heard the groans of floorboards from the far end of the cabin. The hairs on the back of my neck started to prickle. The sound kept me awake for ages until i decided I had to do somthing. With the others asleep I climbed down from the top bunk and crept towards the far end of the cabin. Still the creaking continued, getting louder as I neared the bathroom. But when I got there I found nothing so I crept back into bed. But still the creaking continued. Now louder, nearer to my bed as if by showing I was awake I had offered myself as a possible target for whatever was there. Somehow I managed to fall asleep, I don't know how. When I woke up the creaking was gone. But still I wonder what was out there that night and it's connection to Witley cabin. |

Kinda sounds like my house, except for the smell. My [ex] bro-in-law would feel things push him and doors would slam in his face. My sister saw a shadow figure with green glowing eyes and i saw and 8 ft tall shadow figure. I would hear pots banging around the house when no one but me was home, floors creaking and sounds, and so on. I still live in this house, and everyone who comes here at night always tells me it is really creepy at night. I agree with them. So the figure and creaking sounds kind of like my house. |
