That looked nice. I like that you added birds flying away after the explosion thing.

G'day Y'all! I'm currently working on an animation that I've been wanting to make for awhile, but never actually gotten round to doing it. All up I've worked on this for approximately 13 hours or pure aimation. I did FxF animation. My splash is messed up, i need some help with it. I can't decide whether to make it 24 fps or 15 fps crits please. Thanks a Bunch! byby |

Looks good so far w00t but as you said you're having trouble with the splash. At the moment the perspective seems a little wrong as if we are seeing the splash from above as opposed to on the side. It also looks as though it needs a few more inbetweens, but after that it should be excellent. And about the frame rate, I find working at 24 or 30fps is quite comfortable for me but it comes down to the individual project I suppose. Take a look at this thread, seems to be covered in more detail there.

His upper body is still and that doesn't look too good, Hwiazen. It's not half bad though. Okay, I had some nudity-related talks (I drew a penis, that's why) on another art forum and I came up with this little gif loop. Came out pretty Hertzfield..

I like your little walk cycle man. the only thing i need to say something on is that the ground seems a bit bumpy, as if the one leg went deeper into the ground ,deeper then the other one.

Clean, refreshing work, hwiazen! One thing I noticed is that his arms swing at different heights, which could attribute to his 'punching' motion.

Very nice. Wish I had the Animator's Survival Kit but I am poor One thing though, I noticed while watching, it seemed a little sketchy, so I stopped playback and went through frame by frame and noticed your "cross-over" or the frame right before the up position seems to be drawn wrong. You have the legs mixed up. It's only for one frame but the viewer can feel it. Otherwise, a good walk cycle.
