G'day fellas! well thank ya kindly for the compliments.. the 'ninjaness' was merely an experiment to test out the aply named 'elongated inbetweens'.  my multimedia teacher has told me about a competition for flash animation. monash uni is holding it. a short animation on anything, you can work with a team of 1-4 students. you MUST go to high skool. im gunna enter it with my Buzz&Franky stuff.. i haven't done much with them lately, koz i dont really have to do them, but now i have a deadline.  more animations are on their way byby |

G'day mate! Looks great boggle! i love the idea, looks nuts. i also like the roughness of the lines. and then theres the movements.. they're direct, quick and you can see the inbetweens when u needa. keep up the good work! this deffinately much better than walk cycles.. not saying there not good or anythin. byby |

Here's my first front view walk cycle. I've got alot of tweaking to do (timing, line quality, color, head, etc.), but I want some CC before I get at it. Right now, the biggest problem I see is that there is a stutter in between his weight shift caused my my simply doubling the animation and flipping it; that shouldn't be that hard to fix (I still want it to be a fast switch, but not so awkward). What do you guys think? |

I might as well post something. I started doing some unplanned animating straight through by pressing F7 a lot. Heres one of the things that came of it. CLICK to see. It doesnt exactly follow the laws of physics and all that but who cares

Bacon: i like the overlap on the wrist action.... but perhaps its not fitting with the rest of the manly walk. maybe more bend on the elbows would be good and... the body rotation might be a bit extreme. all in all tho... the timing seems quite good. |

Looks a little sketchy. Try doing a whole sentence, it's kinda hard to see if it's right or not at the moment because it's over in the blink of an eye. If you're quite familiar with flash check this tutorial out, I found the method used in this tut quite helpful. ------------ And shanewaier, your pic isn't showing up dude (or is this just for me?) |
