that little alien really needs to get out of the way, he could get brain damage getting pelted with those things |

The timing is a bit off. I think the little dude should hold that pose for a few more seconds because the reaction (the thing hitting him) came too fast. Other than that it looks gewd. |

Nice job. That alien REALLY needs to move out of the way. Oh, well, i cant control everything. But, one thing that should be corrected. There should be a pause inbetween the frame when the rock is coming and the previous from it. Just so the alien isn't making the face at the guy when the guy throws the rock at him. Plus, the timing is weird. Anyways, nice job.

hehe, thanks guys! glad you liked it ahh and i did notice the timing thing myself.. but i thought maybe i was being a bit overcritical, i guess not huh? to be honest, i needed a little encoragment.. or ill probably just do no more for another year and a half. doing this practically killed my hand! i had to go get this cooling stuff the doctor gave me after i spent 8 hours solid in painter! |

Hey thanks! and i actually thought this was a pretty good stary.. quite dan paladin.. but everyone says that about most explosions now huh? anyway, i think all you have to rememer is that explosions have depth.. and so need shading just like anything else! add a lowlight and a highlight.. especially to that main section and it will hopefully make it look a lot less papery |

Hey, i thought id give a bit of an example of what i meant before so i took the liberty of tracing your explosion and then just adding shaddow and highlights etc anyway.. Here's what I made it into. |

Nice stuff clink! I think that the arm goes kinda like "behind" when you are walking like that. It looks like a jog, not much of a walk. |

Looks to be all in the arms to me.. they are going a bit far back, and a little more bent than they should good advice is always taking a look at somebody.. very carefully to see what it is you are doing differently maybe ask your parents, siblings, friends etc to help out? / adive ripped almost entirely from the animators survival kit, damn thats a good book! |

Thanks guys, I guess it's mostly the arms then. I will patch them up next time I work on it and probably tweak the legs and head a little too.

Something needs to go here...........
|
CLiNK: Just one crit mate I think you move the head a little too much, cause I know when I walk I don't constantly look side to side. Make it move because you need that effect but maybe just not as much as you are. |
