Yep that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm gonna keep him a little more still, I want to get his ears flopping more though  I'm quite liking the colour scheme the more I look at it though, even though it doesn't really do much, I'm thinking of building my style toward these wacky colours, like that show Doug. I used to love how everyone was all these weird colours.

Pretty good timing but the arm and leg movements seem off. How many frames are in the whole cycle?

I think it just depends on how you look at it, I actually thought your main problem was with the legs not the arms. It looks like you are missing a vital line for when he is in the air which confuses the eye and makes it look like we're seeing the same thing as the first time he was in the air.

This is by no means perfect but I'm trying to demonstrate the difference between having the line and not having the line I am talking about.

hey Hwiazen. I think your run cycle might look a tad better if it was speeded up a bit like this..

http://willarbuckle.com/junk/runningh26430fps.mov

this is going at 300% the rate of the original.

dude, my only suggestion for the smoke, is add a little more shape to it, so it looks more puffy at times, and add more frames, so it is longer than a very short repeting loop

Wow. Amazing. I love the way how you've animated in movement, how the way it squashes. It's amazing :D And I love your character design. It's good how you show it all step by step.
To all others: If you want to bocome a good animator, look at Comlock!

I'm so bad at putting my thoughts into words when I really want something said :D

Very nice, that must have taken a lot of work. You've got some very clever and cute ideas, your smears and stretches are effective, but the actual dancing leaves me a little cold. I feel like you could have gone much more extreme on many of your poses.

Research some actual dances, there's a lot out there to steal from.

when I downloaded the music clip I thought it was a tad weak, so I didn't attempt. Although some poses aren't as strong as others this is very good overall :D

Thanks for all the comments=) And thanks for crits Angh=). I agree. all the animation as soon as he gets on that desk is the part I hate the most in this since its very stiff and way too simple looking, so thats probably the first thing im going to reanimate. thanks for the pose suggestions =)

Story board for an animation im workin on. the animation will be much slower and will last for about 4 minutes. Made this for me to get a hold of the orientation and so I won't forget it.

In addition to that, Commie, I think your staging could have been stronger. Your character was was generally localized to a few places. You can adjust your scenery/camera angle to give him lots of negative space in those areas so we can clearly see the movement.

Examples:

Now, your scene is more complicated, so it will take a little more thought than needed for these shots. But, I still think it can be improved.

Overall, it's a strong piece... :bfoot:

ah, thats a good idea. I'll see what I can do about that. Thanks Bleeg=)
Im not realy shure if I can do anything with the furniture or surroundings without adjusting the camera, so maby just some more contrast from the character and background will do. Maby just move the 2 foreground objects further apart.
