yeah i've been hearing the same thing on the other sites, i've got the frame rate at 30 just expanded the frames on the fire, thanks for the crits. |

 Anyway, I did this animation in about 20 mins. CAUTION: This short is rated PG. It contains some coarse language. We recomend viewers to be 13 or older. Woohoo! Bez's first movie! Crits?

to Wiz: I saw quite a bit of flaws there. Like when he turned his head, you shouldn't just us the transform tool, you should draw a new frame of him. plus you needed to make an inbetween of the front of him. And the lip syncing needs some work. I know it was done in just 20 minutes but put a little more time in it to make it a little bit better. to Purplecrayon: thats not bad, you've got good control with the wacom

Hey, zorg, I think what Wiz is trying to go for, is that the character doesn't change his angle. If you have ever seen a movie by Legendary Frog, I think you'd understand what I mean. He only uses tweens. Anyway, very funny Wiz! The lip-syncing definitley needs work, though. I like yours aswell Purplecrayon! And I recognize that roar from a Swedish movie-making program I have! I notice there's a frame missing at the end, was that on purpose? Oh, and how did you blur the background? I've never been able to work that out... |

I guess I just left that frame clear to show that it was the end of the animation instead of it just looping again. And to blur something you make the symbol you want to blur a movie clip. After that you go to the properties panel and go to filter where u should see a plus and a minus sign. Click on the plus sign and then pick blur effect and you can shoose how blurred u want it to be. It also contains many more effects like glow, bevel, stuff like that. |

Brakken was right. I'm really trying to go for a style that you don't ever see the front of him. and the timing of the lip syncing is a little off I know but. All that happens in that movie was surposed to happen.
 Although I find somthing that I can change to make it better so I'll maybe post that later on. -Wiz |

Ah, I use 8, you must be using a lower version. Although if you have photoshop then you can add blurs that way. |

While LF's artistic ability may not be one par with some of the other fine animator's in the world, he is, by no means, talentless. Consider, first, his ability to tell a fine story; I believe there is a certain somebody on this very forum who would gladly give up the animation part of things in order to focus more on the stories (I'm talking about AP, of course). Joey Blanchette has found a way to effectively draw much attention to his stories without spending countless hours on something he probably realizes he's not too great at, and I think that makes him a good artist. If all it took to be as successful as LF were an artistic ability on par with his, then NG would be filled with one helluva lot of popular animators.

Okay, I dont see how you can say he has no talent. Sure his animations arent the best but id have to say this one is pretty decent.This is pretty nicely made, nice background design I think, simple story behind it and great music syncing. I guess it may just be your opinion but i dont think this guy is talentless. (although I do think his characters suck). |

The backgrounds weren't very good in my opinion. And one thing that bugged me is that when those people were walking, they had the same speed as when they were running too. Maybe if he learnt fbf he wouldn't make so many flaws. |
