Funny. Alright, kiddies, I made this for a 5-Minute-Flash contest with my animator buddies last nite on skype. I lost. Boggle should recall, he will mention it most likely.

Geeez buddy, your getting gewwwddd, hard to give ANY crits, the only thing that could use a bit of tweaking is the nose, the same amount of meat doesn't stay in it on the stretch down, it gets a little thin. That would work fine in fast motion but in such a slow movement as walking you can exaggerate quite as much but, whatever it really doesn't make that much difference. Keep up the good work, Clinkster B)

These have just been piling up over the last few days so I decided to go ahead and post them. One character: two different walkcycles and one jump test.

Walk cycle 1
Walk cycle 2
Jump test

C&C please.

The model you use remind me of that one eyed thing on Small Soldiers.

Very good for your first Daz! My only pointers now would be to just keep doing the same type of thing, you will gradually improve your timing and movement the more you practice. Was this walkcycle for anything in particular or just practicing?

Practice makes perfect right ;)

With the help of this little community we will achieve our goal and be as good as Adam one day  maybe not but hopefully be able to do something that we are really proud of.

CLiNK your animations are getting alot better by the minute keep up the good work and remember what your teacher said to you

MOTIONS TWEENS LOOK BETTER THAN FRAME by FRAME  :worry: :gasp:
right ;)

I like the impact, Zorg, though I don't quite understand why the blob turns to dust when it strikes the left side of the stage... :fpbls:

it's supposed to be an explosion but I gave myself a time limit of 5 minutes to animate it so I didn't add the flames to the explosion. and it just randomly explodes in the air :)

Your character isn't prospecting correctly. Pick a line on the wall that's parallel to the bricks and use that line to determine your character's height as he runs back; right now he's shrinking to less than half the size he should be given the perspective you have. But the run cycle itself and the little pause he does when he's turning are all quite good, so it's just a matter of resizing the drawings.

Zorg Nice work! So you like blobs huh?

Another little walk cycle I am making for a new signature for the forums but for some reason it doesn't wanna work on photobucket properly.

the way it is supposed to be is that you can't see the name at all then it comes along as yella walk across but that is not the way it has turned out here so i'll go home and see what I can do to it to make it work better.

You get what I mean the black and the dude are supposed to be higher but when I upload it - it changes any ideas as to why?
