hey supersack i like those tweens, but what i'd do next is draw each frame individually on a layer above your current one, that way you can make it seem more realistic, and you can correct the possible mistakes done by the tween. I think the second one should be brilliant if you'd do that.
It's also a very good idea to just first tween the thing and then make a fbf of it by drawing each frame but more accurately.
Well i like it anyways keep it up

He means it figuratively. The arm facing the screen wobbles all over the place at the shoulder, which is hard not to do without serious planning and measurments. Plus, in that one frame, you didn't even put the rest of the arm onto the hand!

HELP! :gasp:

Im working on a flash movie.. and the dude in the clip is searching for a toilet that's not engaged. He jumps from one to another and what Ive done doesnt look right. :yfok:

hopptest click here hehe

I thought it would go fast in the beginning and then ease in to the landing, but I guess I should fix the landing in another way.

Animation people! Help little Tinsterr pleeese! :worry:

I just think you have him slow down to soon. Have him slam onto his feet and kinda hit the floor with a bit more force. Right now hes doing a half "The flash" and "Man on the moon" kind of jump.

maybe you could make him jump higher and then slowly let him land on his feet.

I reckon stretch him out and speed him up Tinsterr. I'm not sure what his motivation is but I'm assuming he really needs to use the toilet :P so this is what I was thinking:
Click meeee(it doesn't loop so might have to rewind). Just basically stretching that leg out, telling the viewer what he's doing before he does it. Also, if you don't want it to change so much from what you already have, you could maybe try making his feet slip out underneath him just as he lands but make his hands hold onto the door, could make it more interesting.

Arr, I dunno.

Tinsterr, you make the character move at the same speed through out the clip.
As things move they gain and lose momentum, causing them to usually be faster in the middle. Just give it fewer frames in the middle and it will look more real, like this:

this should show you what I mean: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y269/Bogg...wf?t=1178395000
hope this helps

Well, Boggle. How I thought about it in the beginning is that he would go faster in the beginning 'cus he pushes himself away and then ease in, just like the ball, but I made it like he slows down before he touches the ground like hes on the moon or something. If I make it like you suggest I dont think it matters, if I remove just one frame..

Damn Im just talking about nothing.. Im too tired

oh youre right... hm damn I suck at timing and spacing  :yfok: Oh well Im gonna think about it. Thanks Boggle.

Haven't been here in a while... ...probably 'cause I haven't animated anything in a while... :(

Still, I wanted to animate something.....good... so, here it is so far:

Smoke Ninja

Ignore what happens in the background, I haven't solidified that yet.

I think I need to get rid of the smoke coming from the cigarrete, I think it makes it a bit too busy.

The other stick figure will be smoking aswell. I was thinking of making him emo, but I don't know if smoking is something an emo would do....

Comments appreciated :)

well to help you out i guess for a realistic style is as for what i see is that you should make the back bend when he lands like this
http://img79.imageshack.us/my.php?image=goodtipdv5.swf
he bends like that to absorb the shock, i hope this helped
:P

SuperSack that's really nice for a tween I gotta say. I love the movment in the air, but when he jumps and lands, it feels rather weightless. Add some frames while he is crouched and I reckon that should fix it. :)
