thanx for the crit colesif anyway heres the same tween but with the physics modified a bit - still sucks mind
http://img262.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rpgattack3gj2.swf

oh and to those of you wondering how i did it - simply create a shitload of layers, as you can see on mine all the joint points are little circles and there all on seperate layers, then just make 2 lines that join the circles together on 2 different layers for the limb and you can just tween the whole thing and modify the shapes to turn or pan up and down or whatver, you gotta have patience though - mines got 48 layers in just for that

I might suggest setting the quality to "medium" in that avatar, dazla, as it seems like it could be pretty intensive for older computers (viewing here at school) probably as a result of all the shape tweens. Interesting stuff though.

Super sack show me how you manage that, I have been thinking of on how on earth im going to animate ninjas and that there looks very ninja like to me.

Sea shore

Well im in the works on a long prolog of how the strife between Pirates and Ninjas started. School been slowing me down but its coming down to a end in weeks and im working on this flash on and off on my own time. The prolog takes place two months before any actual clash between Ninjas and pirates on a large scale. The setting takes place in japan near the ocean cost by a small village. All seems peacful as the sun sets but as the night goes on the sound of cannon fire disrupts the peace and the village is on fire. Who is to blame you might ask? Pirates of course but perhaps not. However the ninjas think so and now it’s a all out war between Ninjas and Pirates.

Staring characters such as

Malakym-Ninja

Shirke-Ninja

Sneakybot- Ninja

Phoenixphire- Ninja

Pillow- Pirate

Concept- Pirate - Marvin Monkey

Munch-Pirate

FizzDog- Pirate

Rade- Pirate

Cheryl- Mercenary

Dave- Mercenary

Veresaun- Mercenary

B)
Well I better get back to work..... Arg! :o

Lookin' good there. You got some nice stylized work here and you use the stretch animation style pretty well.

I'd just encourage you to have more focused practices animations, keep the figures more realistic (but still cartoony), draw more frames (rather than 75% stretch), and just do one action at a time.

I love me some walk cycles, I'd really like to see a focused walk cycle from you. They're great for teaching multiple actions, timing, and secondary action, plus they're just cool. :D

The first one has a lot of potential, I just think that the timing needs work, especially on his fall. I think his legs need to move a bit more movement and I'd exaggerate his rubberiness so when he's in the air he's kinda' giggling and when he's dropping he should stretch out more vertically. You have him landing flat, he should just be a vertical line just touching the ground then WHAM, flat. Lastly, when he hits the wall, I think he can be squishier and have his legs come in faster.

Great design though, I love the lips. A similar thing is Bill Plympton's Guard Dog.

Grant Jump

I have to thank Boggle for giving me advice with this one, because when you see the first version (also on my deviantart) it makes you throw up a little bit in your mouth.
