Eh, I dont think this is the right place to ask this question but ill ask anyways. Lately ive been syncing my sound effects witht he animation and I place the sound in what should be the perfect spot to sync nicely with the animation. Sometimes the syncing is fine but other times the syncing is off by like 5 seconds. I put a preloader to reduce the size ( dunno if it would help any) but it still does this stupid thing. Anyone know how to fix it? D: |

Try actually publishing the the FLA and testing the published SWF. I usually find when I just test a movie to see if the sound is synced it isn't while the published version may be just fine. |

Comby- Im not sure what it is, but you've managed to make it very smooth. A gravity defying blood drop? Purple- Make sure that when you have the audio selected to go into the properties tab and make sure its set to "Stream"

Working on my first actual lipsync project. I started it yesterday but I only had a little bit of time so it's kinda like daily animation, right? |

It's good how you relied more on the acting in the scene instead of the mouth movements as seen in the keys. I think you could go a bit more extreme with the mouth shapes though. |

Good so far Gatesu, I'de suggest including teeth and tongue, those are essential for letting the audience know what hes saying

Inconsistency is par for the coarse it seams, for me that is but another experiment it is as well (aren't they all?). I decided to put the camera on a motion guide with a few squiggles to try to mimic a steady cam a bit. I think it worked, but it isn't really valuable for this particular kind of scene. 136 @ 12 FPS, about 4 hours but I was slacking. =P EDIT: Not loading for some reason so heres the direct link. http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r212/Co...urrent=POP5.swf |

LOL, I love the little fire dance. Yes I used the V-Cam for my animation. It's insanely useful for animating, I can't believe they haven't released a tool for it yet. |

Looks pretty good. I've got a couple suggestions though. Watch the hips and shoulders. Right now they are essentially horizontal and that is making her look less sexy and powerful. Have the shoulders and hips oppose each other. The last pose is a bit awkward. Have her turn her body, not just tilt to her left. Right now it looks like she's gonna' fall. On the second to last one bring her left hip real high and her left shoulder down low then when she lands, reverse these on her contact. Also, push her back arch so that is very concave when shes got her arms up then on the contact becomes very convex. (IE push the poses, exaggerate them and increase the contrast between each pose) A great start. |

This is my first pencil and paper animation. I did it at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Summer Seminars. It was fun to do
The first part is done on dry erase board with a cut out hand. The assignment was to 'animate your name'. The second part was just animating whatever we wanted so I chose to animate two guys playing frisbee. I finished the people playing frisbee the day before we finished the camp so I continued the animation by adding some lipsynching even though there's no audio. Sorry it's so faint Gold star to anyone who can figure what the standing guy is saying to the frisbee-ist who just fell down

^ ^ ^ Heh my friend David inspired me to make an animation to a Logan Whitehurst song. I just now started listening to some of his songs and they are brilliant. ROBOTCAT Thanks for linking me the song Dave
