i think he's a bit too tall at the end, monkeyboy!
Well, it was the idea that he went slow. Plus I have to add a scene in between that and where you first see him. I think it'll look better then!
I think I used plenty of honey. Thanks.
Could be because I uploaded it onto photobucket. That site seems to extend the screen to show all my crappy lines that I use to fill colour. If I finish it and post in on NG or some other site, it shouldn't appear that way! Thanks! |

Yeah, I only just realised that I should've put a different smiley at the end. I didn't actually mean it in a cruel way. If I offended anyone, I'm sorry. Those are some crazy animations, Echarin! |

Is... that a hot dog??
So full of life and joy, why can't I be more like him!?!--- He's great! ![]() - EDIT - You ought to put the fellow to some lively dance music and draw a few more sequences--- it would sell! Who doesn't love a happy hot dog? |

Seems like a good idea, I'll start doing a small animation every day I guess, this is just a simple one to start off, general practice in squashing and stretching. I don't think I did too well really...Timing seems a little..eeeh. Blob...zorz...

Well, the blob isn't bad but its very jittery. I would definetly say work on your smoothness. Heres a ball bouncing thing I did about a week ago. |

http://www.zshare.net/flash/39227542a391f7/ It spins  http://www.zshare.net/flash/392330645118e6/ It slashes It took me quite a while to make, mostly fussing over the sword though. If you can think of any better names for him, I would love to hear them (and change his crap name lol, it's from Beyblade ffs) |

Deuce, I am gonna steal your animation skills in your sleep! That ball is sweet! The slash is looking good, StickyWicky! Do you have a tablet? The guy on the left needs some work I think. Nice! |

Wow!--- you did an excellent on the consistency throughout the entire jump! The splash isn't half-bad, either! I would work on the timing of the ball in the takeoff and landing sequences. Remember that the ball needs to bounce itself high enough and fast enough to reach the next key. Cut out a few frames from the beginning and end of each bounce: ![]() Also, I really like the squash & stretch you put into the takeoff and landings-- it adds a real feeling of elasticity to the ball. I would encourage you to also stretch the ball during the takeoff and landing frames, too--- something like this: ![]() It helps to build a better illusion of motion.

Okay, first, don't make him a stick figure. Hair looks better, pose isn't very strong though. Eyes need pupils perhaps? Maybe give him some more facial features so you can recognise him in a crowd (or whatever). As for a name, try to pick out what character traits he has first, that helps a lot, I find. EDIT: His right (our left) arm seems much longer than his left. Plus his sword sinks into the ground as if it was butter (the ground not the sword). Good luck! |

Hey StickyWicky, nice animation. Brakken's right in saying that you need to make more resistance when the sword goes into the ground. Also try and anticipate the action before he swings the sword. Make his arm swing just a bit the other way to prepare himself for the movement. And don't be afraid to make his body move to counterbalance him lifting the sword. |

Back from long weekend holiday, where I forgot both my mouse and my graphics tablet. Oh well, back to my daily snippet to try and improve. One lame, generic, boring explosion...
