Honestly, so much better than any of mine. Love the explosion
 Small to medium update. Completely redid the bottom half and made him a real name. http://www.zshare.net/flash/39803581eac2b9/ |

Did you make that yourself or copy it off a tutorial somewhere? |

Twin: Made it myself. I've seen plenty of explosion tutorials over periods of time, I just threw something together based on what I've learnt. Which isn't actually particularly accurate as far as explosion animation goes XD. Anyway, I don't even know what happened here. I went out of my comfort zone a little and tried to do a transforming robot sort of driving off. But the timing ended up wayyy off and the proportions get flipped around far too much. Not too happy with it at all. But hey! This is what daily practice is for |

It's very smooth, but it looks more like he does the splits then slides rather than transforms

When you did that animation did you just go ahead and draw? If you plan out when you want something to happen and draw it on the keyframe then fill the spaces with the rest of the movements you'll have less of a chance of the proportions going heywire. |

Nice one Monkeyboy, but it seems to me if he's gonna jump that gap his take-off should be much more forceful and sudden than what it's at right now. |

Monkey, if you can on toonboom, add a little blur when he dashes. Or make it more evenly spread when he sort of streches and not make him look fat. Still very nice and smooth  |

Not a bad ball animation. You should, when it is falling, have it slowly move faster and faster. It looked like each frame were the same distance apart which gave it a "gliding" look. I don't know... |

Just one little thing... For his eyes, instead of having him close them half way make him do something else in between the positions. Like have his eyes open more or have it form a u before popping into the happy curve eye position thing. Oh, and secondary motion on the antenna would be nice. Looks great already though! |

OK, I joined a Final Fntasy Collab on Newgrouds and this is the start of it. I am wondering how to give my monster stupid looking wings that don't look crap. Ones that make him look puny and pathetic, but not poorly drawn if you see what I mean... CLICK HERE TO SEE IT OMG I WANT ATTENTION |

Hey there StickyWicky! Never played Final Fantasy, so I don't know what the monster looks like.... or if it's original? Perhaps give him extremely small wings, which will make him really feeble and struggling to keep himself in the air. And have about two frames for the flapping of them. One where they're up, and one where they're down. That should make it look like he's flapping really fast! What fps is it on? Send me a link when the collab is done Good luck! |

24FPS. I made some wings, they sucked. Made em again and again but they always suck. Gunna try your suggestion, maybe TopHat's if that fails instead. Thanks for CC. |

Sorry about this double post, but I can't edit my previous one any more
This is an animation I was inspired to make by the person who made SHOCK and SHOCK2 on Newgrounds. I loved them and he was only FIFTEEN! I couldn't help myself so here is the starter I just brewed up. I'm posting this just to see if there is anything I can improve on before I evern THINK of continuing my animation. I wanna get it juuust right before I move on. It's the first bit in the animation you will see, so I want it to be good. So...here it is! |
