Wow, I love you And although I like the snappy effect of animation, I think it's a little over-done there, but still, it's a wonderful little piece of animation, well done. |

Straight ahead animated lip sync Yeah... it shrinks. That's why it's always best to plan your animations. |

Echarin, the hamster is cute, but while he's sitting down against the box he is the same size as when he returns to it to unwrap it (standing up). Nice animation there, TopHat. Note though, that those swords (forgot the name) aren't much of slashing weapons. Perhaps a cutlass is suited better? Then perhaps he takes out a throwing knife for that last enemy. Also, when he lifts the cup off of the stand, the buton underneath moves down instead of up. It's not much, but I think if you changed that seeing as he just lifted off a heavy object, it wouldn't confuse the eye as much. Love the monkey! Echarin, nice lip-syncing there. Is the voice clip your own? Yes, it does shrink, but you know what they say, "Nothing Shrunk, Nothing Gained" |

That was pretty nice. I love the fluidity of the animation and the end where the ball "deflates" in a cool way. Nicely done. Here's a couple of Walk Cycles I decided to enter to the competition. I did most of it today since I had a lot of free time... I think they turned out quite nicely... It'd be nice if someone critiqued this. I really want to know how I can improve upon my animation skills.. oh and they're all hand drawn on index cards.

Mokeyboy, your animation looks cool ant the timing is nice and snappy, but there's an error in the torso. You have it so that the arms don't switch sides when the torso rotates during the jump kick. it should be an easy fix though, just make sure while your animating to know which side is the front or the back of the character. Faceofdoomness, It wouldn't let me see your animation, sorry. |

love the ball explosion gateuryu, some excellent fbf animation there, and u know i love ur blob thing faceofdoomness. walk cycle exercise im working on for uni. http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?image=walkdm6.swf edit: and a lip syncing exercise we had to do with inanimate objects. done in a kind of creature comforts style, i asked my dad a random question and animated it to a vacuum cleaner. u gotta turn the volume right up to hear it but i did add subtitles as well. http://img253.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cleaningec2.swf |

Havnt post anything in a while myself. I love the Ball from GatesuRyu. Its so simple yet looks great. I really like when it burst, the smoke and the movement of the ball are great. Coughing-dog's walk cycle is nice. I am just learning to make some sort of walk cycles and what you did looks simple, i am finding out, it aint as simple as it looks. Here is a short that i made late last year. I got the story from a daughter of one of my co-workers. she was about 8 or 9 at the time she wrote the story.(thats why its a little jumpy on the scenes. the very short version of the story is there is a bird, she has eggs. Eggs get stolen, bird yells at thief, bird get stuck and hurt. girl finds bird. Girl takes care of bird. Girl grows up, bird dies. there is no sound hope you like bird Story any crits welcome |

It also bounces slightly diagonally, not sure if that's what you intended. |
