Well, a week or so ago, at 3:13am (i checked my watch).. i was sitting on the toilet.. when i heard footsteps outside the window.. now, my house is quite short, but is fairly long.. and it was quite clearly human footsteps outside my window. This got me a little worried because i knew the rest of the family were sleeping.. good thing i was sitting where i was eh? heh anyway.. i finished up as quick as i couldm wnd made my way, silently into my room.. where i made my way to the window, with all the lights off.. and stuck my head outside holding out a lamp to illuminate the yard i couldnt see anyone.. but of course i didnt stop looking right away.. i stayed for about an hour.. at the end of which i said loudly "more tea.. mr burglar?!" which i suppose was stupid.. but at the time i couldnt stop thinking of the burglar episode of Bottom after that i couldnt get to sleep till about 8:30am.. when the sun was fully up and my parents were both getting up. I spent that time teaching myself a little php and actionscript intergration, so it wasnt a total loss.. needless to say, i had a knife with me at all times that night. ok, so it wasnt really a scary story exactly.. but a true story of me being scared is close right? sorry for the probably horrible spelling and punctuation.. its 4:27am.. my excuse tonight? i have none, night all! |

Have you seen/read Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher"? The word "shit-weasle" brings back fond memories... |

Which is strange in itself but the fact that you live on the second floor just boggles the mind... |

umm, i dont live on the second floor? just that my bedroom and the toilet are on the second floor of the house. and the "more tea, mr burglar?" is from the burglar eppisode of Bottom.. but i actually did say it richie says it to the burglar they tied up after putting loads of rat poison in the tea then when hes finally forced the tea down his throat richie looks at his watch and says "huh.. its not all glamour this murdering lark is it eh?" if youve not seen it before i really do reccomend it, absolutly fantastic british comedy |

God, that is good stuff. Cracked me up big time. I don't get it though; your house is short, but long? Are the walls also thick but rather thin? Anyway, someone outside your window doesn't really say anything. Often enough someone's just passing by to, I dunno, take out the trash after watching a late movie or for a late walk. Still, saying stupid things to burglars is never stupid; ftw! |
