Here's a blog about illustration, mainly about illustrators from the 40's / 50's (there's also never stuff). http://todaysinspiration.blogspot.com/ And his flickr... (tons of highres pictures) http://www.flickr.com/photos/leifpeng/  I think this one's 60's - 70's  The old ads are great, they often state things that are nowadays considered hazardous to your health.  This one's a Loomis, nice to see what he did apart from his books on drawing.  Leyendecker is amazing! I love people who make things like this available.

Yes, it's a shame that there are so many talentless hacks here in the 21st century. <_< Seriously. Great find Rubber. I love all that Dick Stone stuff. |
