The Process

• Official Nomination ballots will be accepted from May 23rd to June 1st. Categories will be released by May 17th in this forum if you wish to start working early. Check announcements for release of categories and nomination ballots.
  
  
• All ballots will be anonymous, but IP addresses can be tracked with the survey service we are using to collect nominations, we will be aware of multiple submissions. Please fill out as much of the ballot as possible, considering each member gets only ONE ballot.
  
  
• By June 5th, all nominations will be counted and the top 3 -5 of each category will be placed in polls for official voting. (For the sake of surprise, any category with only 1 unanimous nomination or less will not be posted in the polls.) The voting forum will be closed at 12:00PM EST on June 15th. Awards will be presented within the next week.

• Members with at least 20 posts are eligible to submit a nomination ballot.
  
  
• All forum members are eligible to vote.
  
  
• Any forum member may be nominated for any award if they have met the criteria of the award. (I.e. you can't be most descriptive if you don't meet the 3 line minimum in roleplays.)
  
  
• You can only nominate a person or roleplay for a maximum of two categories. If someone is nominated more than twice on your ballot, only the first two nominations will count. For example, if you nominated John smith for friendliest, and them fastest replyer, and then again for most descriptive poster, John would only officially be nominated for friendliest and fastest replyer. Your nomination for most descriptive would be thrown out. When voting for roleplays though, it is okay to nominate a roleplay that John Smith is in, even if you have voted for him twice.
  
  
• To keep things fair and to avoid later conflicts, we ask that no alliances or deals are made in any nomination or voting. This means, we do not want any sorts of "If you vote for me, I'll vote for you" dealings. It is okay to say "Vote for me!" in signatures or titles, but please do not spam any forum or topic with any voting requests. This is not a campaign or any form of election, we'd like to keep it based on personal judgment, not who can make the most friends.
  
  
• As a courtesy, if you have a secondary character, please vote only with one account. Thanks!
  
  
• Also, to make this contest updated, please do not vote on any topics or members inactive since 7/1/08.

• Award winners will be posted with their trophy in the wall of fame, as with last years winners and will hold their titles for the next year
