What is a debate? Just in case there are some of you out there who don't know it's simple. You are just stating what you think then you try to pursuade the others to drop their side and join yours. Just follow the rules to keep it fair and fun for everyone. 1. Make sure you know what you are talking about. Take a little time to do research if you have to. 2. Don't call people names. It's not nice especially if it's over them just not agreeing with you. 3. No trash talking anyone. IE: Bush sucks balls. This kind of thing is not tollerated and will instantly get you disqualified. 4. If more than two people are in the debate give everyone a chance to post. It's not really fun if two of you go getting into a deep discusion leaving the others out. 5. I as the moderator of this debate hold the right to ask aditinal questions to keep things interesting. Also if I see it starting to get out of hand I will ask only once for the ones cause the trouble to stop. If you do not you will be disqualified. 6. You can only sign up under 1 account. So if you use your main account you can't join in as your side account. 7. Most importantly have fun. Remember this is only for fun and not to cuase arguements and hurt feelings between you guys. Judging will be on not only how you present your side of the story but how you respond to what the other people say. It's not really a debate if you guys don't discuss stuff. If any admins or mods would like to judge just PM me and let me know within the next week. If anyone would like to participate Post in this thread letting me know. This debate will be starting on April 1st. You can still participate if you don't sign up and feel free to do so if you miss the sign up. The sign up is just here to see how many people are interested. And now... so you guys have time to research and form your opinions I'll give you the question. Should we go out and colonize space? If so, why?
