Emissary of Shape-Shifters

 Character Name: Anok Jameson (A.J.) Ald'an Species: Shape Shifter Age: Physically he is around 24 give or take a year or two but his true age is 208 Job: Emissary of the Shape Shifters since 1904 Relationship: Married to Rosaline Elizabeth Ald'an, Emissary of the Vampires. Closest friends Kai Yokozue and Belladonna Hellvain. (Jaden's Godparents) Family:
Physical Description: As with all shape-shifters he can look anyway he wants, however he prefers one form over all and thats one of a vampire, he prefers the feel of a vampires fangs in his mouth than normal teeth and his eyes darken when in this form considerably. In this form he can be seen wearing simple denim jeans of Crimson red and black, a black leather jacket with a fur and a pentagram or devils cross necklace and wielding a large sword and a hip sheath in each leg of his pants and a shuriken holder strapped just above his right knee. He has a kind face and bright blue eyes and dark black spiked hair. Personality: Acts uncaring around most but those he loves, you can see him walking around with a knowing smirk on his face but not of arrogance. He enjoys watching others go about their business and seeing the citizens of Ris'mos happy. When he gets alone with the love of his life Roz he is very open and caring and it is the only time he lets his guard down, She is the only one he trusts and he would put his life in her hands at anytime. He can be very diplomatic at times being an emissary but prefers to take it easy and tends to have a laid back attitude instead of that of a dignified stuck up political official. Although he can be very diplomatic and professional when need be and when he needs things done. However despite that his favorite thing to do is curl up in front of a warm fire enjoying a glass of cool sweet wine or sharing a glass of warm fresh blood with Roz. Skills: Anok's physical skills usually depend on what form he takes so you never know what they'll be. His experience with weapons is mainly with different types of swords throwing knives and shuriken but can wield any weapon without much trouble. As a shape-shifter Anok does not have any magical skills besides the ability to rearrange his molecules to any form, However when in other forms if the creature he has taken the form of has magical powers or other skills he can use those skills. His intelligence is extremely high as are all shape shifters, His ranges in the 225-250 category which in itself is extremely rare however it is even an extreme among shape-shifters Anok is indeed gifted and a prodigy among prodigy's. His mental/psi skills are also dependent upon his form chosen like with his magical skills. Other skills include a great love of cooking, he finds joy in it and is great at it. History: Anok Jameson (A.J.) Ald'an born in Ris'mos in 1798 in a quite sector of the city to his Beautiful Shape-Shifter mother Brianna and handsome Shape-Shifter father Martin Ald'an. Growing up he wasn't very popular since shape-shifters aren't all that common but he could always blend in due to his powers. As he grew he mastered his shifting rapidly with little trouble controlling it. He was always a fast learner and excelled in school. Around 1822 he realized that he was at the peak of his natural growth cycle and would only go downhill from their, so it was about that time that he started using his powers to keep his main form from aging as did most shape shifters. He continued to grow in the city of Ris'Mos and often ventured out side to all corners of the world meeting creatures of all kinds and mastering his skills even more by taking their form and learning to use their various skills and powers while in that form. Short Story: How He Met Rosaline- In the 1860s he was invited by his friend Demois Emissary of the vampires at that time to the human world to a vampire sect in the city of New York. He took his favorite vampire form and went through the portal in Ris'mos castle With Demois and they went together to the Vampire Sect, their he saw a female vampire who caught his interest so he excused himself from Demois's side and followed her around for a bit watching her, when she entered the light he saw the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, she had straight black hair that goes down between her shoulder blades, a very light complexion, gray eyes, and an athletic build. He was instantly attracted to her and was determined to meet her so he went around asking a few of the local vampires in the sect about the new stranger and no one knew anything about her history. The entire night he follow her keeping well back hidden in the shadows just watching her slowly moving closer as the night went on. As he followed her to the out skirts of the vampire sect he thought he kept noticing someone or something following her as well, and when she got to a point when no one else was around it attacked, a vampire came out of the shadows and moved swiftly over her she startled and quickly came to her sense and got ready to fight, A.J. was impressed by her skills but it was no use, this hunter was a professional and she was soon over taken, A.J. not wanting to reveal himself yet he pulls a shuriken fr5om his leg pouch and aims for the hunters heart, he prays for his aim to be true and throws the shuriken with all his might striking the vampire in the heart. As it falls to the ground weakened but not dead yet she gets up and runs back to where he first saw her. After stopping to dispatch the vampire once and for all A.J. quickly hurries back following her close but still staying hidden. He sees Demois in the distance and she runs right into him, he catches her and she starts explaining what happened and Demois sees A.J. walk out of the shadows and smiles at him, shes startles and starts to run but Demois grabs her and introduces the two and A.J. takes her hand and brings it to his mouth kissing it gently saying he is pleased to meet her he explains what had happened and how he was the one who helped her in the fight. He tells her she no longer needs to worry about the hunter and that he got rid of it permanently. Demois invites her to return to Ris'mos with them and A.J. Realizing that she would have no way of starting a new life there offers for her to stay with him for a while til she got on her feet. When they return to Ris'mos castle Demois leaves them to attend to his duties and A.J. takes her out for a tour of the town, she is quiet and scared at first but as they stop by a small restaurant and have dinner she slowly opens up to him as he asks about her life thus far, she doesn't answer all his questions still unsure to whither she can trust him or not she doesn't reveal too much about herself and stays rather standoffish towards him however he accepts that and doesn't press the issue or try to rush her. After dinner he takes her back to his house and gives her the grand tour of it telling her she is welcome to stay for as long as she needs to and that he would help her in anyway he could. He shows her her room and asks if she would like to go to bed now or stay up talking for a while. She says that it has been a long night and that she would prefer to just go to bed. He accepts this and lets her know that as long as she is in Ris'mos the sun would not harm her but she still didn't like the idea of going out into it, as he walks away he hears her door shut and he walks into his room thinking about her all night. The next few months they spent together was much like that first night as she slowly warmed up to him but still kept to her vampiric habits and attitude around him. As time went on A.J.'s patience, kindness, and respect towards her finally won him her heart. They became closer and closer as time went on, and she opened up to him more than she had opened up to anyone before. In the 1870s they were married and lived happily together ever since. Aj loves her smile and is the only one who can get through her emotional shielding and see the real her and bring out her human side. End of short story Demois was a great connection for him to have and helped him get a position working in the castle for the Emissary of the Shape-Shifters. He quickly excelled through the ranks until he was the personal assistant to the Emissary, when the time came for him to retire A.J. was the obvious pick as the next Emissary of the Shape-Shifters and was appointed so in 1904. Being emissaries he and Roz (see her profile for how she became an emissary) were given a large Diplomats house close to the castle and they have been living in it comfortably and still do to this day. |
