 Character Name: David Andrew Darkwood Age: Appears 29; Truly 221 Species: Ghost Job: None Relationships: He maintains a strong relationship with Rosaline now that they have been reunited. Oftentimes, he sticks to the shadows of her guest house, but they spend time together as often as possible. He is also close to his brother-in-law, Anok Ald'an, and his nephew, Jaden. Family:
Physical Description: David has dark short hair. He’s tall, and he has dark green eyes. He is somewhat translucent, now being a ghost, but in his human form, he always had a medium complexion. You can defnately tell the family resemblance between David and Rosaline when Rosaline is in her human form. Personality: David has a very quiet and reserved personality. He has been known to have firey bursts of frustration when provoked or threatened. He is somewhat obsessive and a little maddened since he could never find Rosaline, so he has a few nevous ticks, but for the most part, he's fairly normal. Skills: David is an amazing artist. He’s not a strong fighter, but as a ghost, he has been able to perfect the skills of possession, and he can also solidify himself for short periods of time. Solidifying himself takes a lot of energy, so he doesn’t do it very often. History: David Andrew Darkwood was born in 1786 as the first child of the Darkwood family. He was heir to their family business, property and money, growing up in a comfortable life. He grew up very close to his sister, Rosaline, who was only two years younger than him. His parents sent him to school in the finest schools and universities, but even while away, he kept in touch with his sister almost constantly. During his time away at school, he’d developed a strong interest in art, and discovered his talent for drawing. When his sister was engaged to be married, David returned home for the wedding. After a sober discussion between them, he realized many things about her fiancé and decided to help her get away. They had planned her escape for the night before the wedding, but Rosaline disappeared before that night. David was left to deal with a furious family. He made it his mission to search for his missing sister. For the first six months, David and Rosaline’s fiancé searched the area, but came up with no sign. When her fiancé gave up, David continued to search and made it his life mission, becoming obsessed with finding her. He never married, but had a fiancé and a son at the time of his death. David died young, being murdered at the age of 29. His murderer was never found, and he never truly passed onto the afterlife. His mission had kept him tied to the world of the living, even after these hundreds of years. He had haunted the old Darkwood mansion, until it was torn down, ever since; he has been trapped in his gravestone. |
