Hmm, you make an interesting point. I was going to say that people with a very high amount of money would be allowed to go "Space Diving" Next year. I think it's pointless. Anyway, back to the point: We've got 5000 years, as you claim, right? In that amount of time, we could quite possibly find a method of recyclable energy that doesn't take ages, or even discover a way of oxygenating planets, such as terraforming. I doubt we'd be able to do such a great feat, but prehaps with a giant tube or something, we could pump oxygen into the atmosphere, but there's still the question of gravity...maybe everyone could wear lead boots :P? We may even discover how to put plantlife on unoxygenated planets. |
