Well, what I say may be harsh to all Americans out there, but we all know that we do it... I was in Washington DC around the time some protesting was going on. It bothered me just a little, even though it was civil. I mean, who are we to tell another world power what to do. As far as China's prowess goes, they could kick our butts anytime, just in sheer numbers. XD. Anyway, the Olympics have nothing to do with what China is doing. They are only hosting the Olympic games, it's not like they do so every year. We just have too many people that want to find something wrong with it and protest. (Because we love to XD) Is China doing something morally wrong? That is not for me to decide. For all I know the protesters could have some moral dirt in their own backgrounds. I guess my main point of my jumbled thoughts is this: We as Americans have no right to dictate where the Olympic games are being held, especially if the host is not bringing other personal issues into it. The Chinese are doing their duty of hosting a world event. That is all. It is the news casters and protesters who are bringing the dirt into the light. |
