 The Wardstone Chronicles are probably my second favourite series of books, which are by Joseph Delaney. The consist of (I'll put the American versions in brackets to help all you folks): The Spook's Apprentice (The Last Apprentice: Revenge Of The Witch), The Spook's Curse (The Last Apprentice: The Curse Of The Bane), The Spook's Secret (The Last Apprentice: Night Of The Soul-stealer), The Spook's Battle (The Last Apprentice: Attack Of The Fiend), and The Spook's Mistake (The Last Apprentice: Wrath Of The Bloodeye).

They're a great series of books in the 1st person of a boy called Tom, who becomes the apprentice of the regeant Spook, a person who deals with evil spirits and dark creatures. The books show how Tom grows up, with the Spook and his friend Alice, learning about the ways of the Spook.

PICK 'EM UP!!! I'll only read your books if you read mine :P

P.S: I think the American titles are bad. They don't have the same mystery about them.
