I love...... -------The Abhorsen trilogy -------The Twilight Saga -------Harry Potter -------Trickster's Choice & Trickster's Queen...and everything else in that series. You've all probably heard of the first three, if not all of them, so I'm only going to tell you about the last one: Trickster's Choice is about a girl named Aly, and she's the spymaster or tortall's daughter. She is trained in spymastery, so she's very clever, and sometimes sarcastic. It is a fantasy, in a realm that is very well written and created, I applaud the author at her impeccable imagery and the aspect of reality she created in this book... or series rather, Trickster's Choice and trickster's queen are actually quite far down in the series. The series starts off with a character named Alanna, she's a woman disguised as a man, to fulfill her dream to become a night...and since women are not allowed to do so, she pretends to be a man. -Alanna: The first Adventure, (song of the lioness book 1) -Alanna: In the hand of the godess -Alanna: Lioness Rampan -Alanna: Woman who rides like a man. Then there's Aly: -Trickster's Choice, -Trickster's Queen. The series starts with one character, then moves to that character's daughter, I enjoy this series, because they are suspenseful, and intriguing on a level that many books are not. The main characters are full of personality, and wit, I especially like it that the characters are intelligent, and often, instead of being one step ahead of the characters...like in many fantasy books...they keep you guessing, and their ingenuity is so great, that even the most acute imaginations will be thrilled!!! |
