Yeah it's a problem of society as a whole. On average a good looking woman is going to get paid more for doing the same job as a less attractive woman. In the end things like this only encourage people that it's okay to only look skin deep. People are naturally drawn to beauty but we are fully capable of looking beyond it if we choose too. That's what we're taught to do as kids by movies like Beauty and the Beast and even more recently Shrek. Yet it never sticks because their are so many examples of beautiful people getting whatever they want with no comeuppance for it. After all look at how much stir Susan Boyle made. It wasn't that she had a great voice that surprised people. It was that she had a great voice and wasn't stunningly beautiful.
