I know this isn't a paranormal board. Sort of. >.>;;; But, since there's nowhere else to put it... What're your stances on Ghosts. Not the role play kind. The REAL ones. As in, REAL real. Random link to start us off, specifically some... uh... Google results. |

Well since no one else wants to talk about ghosts I guess i will. From personal experience I have been to a couple of places that have said they were haunted and quite frankly I have to believe some of what is said. I mean, I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me or not but one of the haunted graveyards I went to, I have seen in pictures and on a camera first hand things that aren't actually there to the naked eye. Those little hairs on the back of your neck standing up are not just some random occurrence, I believe them to actually be a ghost either passing by you, your passing through you. Have you ever heard a high pitch sound ring through your ears? That my friends is one of the ways the paranormal try and communicate with us. Don't believe in ghosts? Go to an old cemetery one night with some friends and a video camera. Record everything and I almost guarantee you find something to make you believe. |

The manifestations of ghost I do believe could be possible, however, in much different perseptive than the stereotyped "specters" many people first imagine when the subect comes up. Before anything is said I will quote the law of conservation of energy: Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. The only thing that can happen with energy in an isolated system is that it can change form, for instance kinetic energy can become thermal energy. Stating this I will bring attention to a new theory. We, as living, moving humans, possess potential and kinetic energy. The potential energy to move something, such as my fingers, then transfered into kinetic energy as I type. With all OUR energy, what are we to do with it? Seeing how energy cannot be destroyed, it must be transfered. Before we die we have energy. Where does that energy transfer into? I do theories that energy is transfered into the "air." If you will. Does this energy take on the appearance as it's previous owner? That I doubt, but I do believe the energy takes on some form of a new transfered.. body. Then again we have self proclaimed psychics who claim they can speak to this energy from our human dimension. How could this be possible? Well, I theories that due to the fact this energy had originated from a human, we have a "sixth sense" or human intuition for this former energy. It's familiar. Then I question where would this energy go if not transfered into other earth objects. Some people belive in reincarnation, others in heaven and hell, nirvana, ect. I'm going to use heaven since I'm more familiar with the Christian beliefs. How can ones energy go to a heaven? How can it go from one dimension to another? Why can we not, as humans living, find that link between Heaven, Hell, and Earth? It's like our life is a sheet of paper. Heaven on one side, and hell on the other. And the only way to get to either it to put a hole through it. The hole is when we die, and the gateway to one of these places. But we, living, cannot seem to duplicate this hole. Therefore, who can say that once we die, there is anything afterwards? That brings us to the point of how our energy can be transfered there. Energy MUST be transfered. It MUST. That is a law of nature, a law of science, it is accepted and true. (I just realized what a confusing analogy that was, my bad. It was the only one I could truly make sense in my own mind.) My point is, my beliefs are not solid. I cannot understand them completely myself. Proving that I could very well be wrong. No religion is certain, no religion is based on true facts. No one can be 100% in their belief without having ignorance for others. It is because no one can be solid - seeing how we can't even understand death completely. There is so much about space we do not know. Something physically here, we don't even know about our own oceans completely. Something physically here. How can anyone think we can understand what is after physical form? Way off subject now, I got caught up in my fun. Back on topic.. So do I believe in ghosts? Yeah, I suppose. |
