Character Name: The Bloody Rose
Age: 25
Species: Human
Job: Hitman
Relationships: None
Family: None
Physical Description: 6 ft tall, shoulder length messy black hair. slightly soft facial features ironic considere his personality. His hair, including facial hair and clothing are often changed in his line of work as a another level of disguise.
Personality:The Bloody Rose, is a cold hearted killer, there’s no denying it. He’s an emotionally cold person who if they ever went to a psychiatrist would no doubt proclaim them sociopath. He is always thinking 2 steps ahead; calculating, and can seem distant at times because of this.
Skills:Compared to supernatural people Rose has NO abilities, but compared to humans he is far smarter than your average person, and can wield a gun with expert accuracy. His other skill is his extremely quick reflexes, he was born with good relaxes and constantly trains himself to be faster and stronger than he looks
History: The Bloody Rose has always had an emotional distance from people, showing a distant lack of any sense of communal well being or sympathy for people around him as well as an absence of remorse or guilt for people he has hurt or who have suffered hurt. This was never more evident than when his parents both passed away when he was in college.

The Bloody Rose was born just outside London in the suburbs. His parents owned a large house at the end of an almost Pleasantville-esc cul-de-sac. He grew up as any other child did, going to school and playing computer games but he didn’t bond with the other children and as a result was often bullied. This continued in comprehensive school, serving only to imbue in him a great pent up anger.

When he did start college in oxford, being readily accepted because of his outstanding grades, he joined the campus shooting team and was quickly recognised as a natural with both handguns and rifles. Unknown to most people he took up this practise in his own time outside the campus at target ranges, honing his talent.

It was in the third year of college that both his parents passed away as a result of illness, leaving him the sole heir to their estate and wealth. This left him with the large house and a sum of two million pounds.

Only a few nights later, at a club not far from his house, a fight broke out. The fight grew out of control quickly, encompassing most of club interior. Trying to stay out of the fight, The Bloody Rose remained at the bar. One of the men nearby pulled out a gun and tried to shoot into the crowd but had it knocked from his hand by another brawler. The gun slid across the floor to The Bloody Rose. Picking it up The Bloody Rose was quickly jumped by another drunkard wielding a knife, and, caught up in the moment, he shot the man in the shin. Fear and pain cut through the knife-wielder’s drunken haze and he desperately tried to stagger away from The Bloody Rose. Angry, arrogant about his gun-skill and detached from any sense of mercy, The Bloody Rose smirked and shot the man dead.

As a result of the chaos of the bar, eye-witness accounts were confused so many people were not convicted. The Bloody Rose, however, was found guilty of imperfect self-defence (acting in self defence but at an unreasonable level) and sentenced to two years in prison.

After serving only one year of his sentence, The Bloody Rose was released on good behaviour. Selling his parent’s house for a tidy sum, he relocated himself to the US, renting out the business suite of a hotel indefinitely.

He continued to pursue his interest in weapons, attending a local shooting range and often practicing late into the night. His skill was recognised by the range owner, who approached him one night after his practice. Making sure he was not overheard, the man proposed a job that would make use of The Bloody Rose’s natural talent and allow him to easily make his way in the states. The job involved murder. The Bloody Rose accepted.

Several weeks later, he was taken to see a local crime lord who explained that he needed The Bloody Rose to assassinate some members of his mob who turned out to be police informants. He would be paid a six figure sum for each hit and provided with black market weaponry which could not be traced. The Bloody Rose agreed to the task without hesitation.

The crime lord told him that he had invited the two men in question to talk with him in a local motel. All The Bloody Rose had to do was walk in to their room and shoot them dead. Choosing a silenced pistol for the job, he made his way to the motel covering his face with a pair of aviators and a big rimmed hat. He knocked on the door of the room, pushed his way in when it was opened and shot both men before they could react.

His success soon earned him more contracts from more clients. On his third hit it was requested that he leave a rose on the body, as a message to the victim’s mistress. This time, everything did not go according to plan.
The Bloody Rose disguised himself as an electrician to gain entry to the target’s house (having previously cut power to the building). The target was suspicious to the point of paranoia however, perhaps knowing he was a marked man, and lunged at The Bloody Rose unexpectedly as he was pulling out his gun. The gun was knocked from the killer’s hands and the two fought barehanded. The Bloody Rose was furious that his plan had met with difficulty. Pinning the target down, he roughly stuffed the rose down the man’s throat and held it there with his palm. When the man’s struggles ceased, The Bloody Rose was satisfied. Removing his hand he realised that the thorns from the rose stem had badly lacerated the man’s throat. From then on, The Bloody Rose would always leave his victims in the same way.

Stories of this serial killer and his bloody roses soon spread and in the city’s underworld The Bloody Rose earned quite a name for himself. With each contract, his skills sharpened until they were at the point of excellence. He left no trace at the scene, no evidence that could connect him to the murders he committed. No-one knew his real name or address, delivering contracts to his PO Box. They only knew his name, his reputation and his calling card. The Bloody Rose has been killing for three years after that first hit at the motel and has earned himself a reputation as one of the most prolific and mysterious killers of modern times and the number one choice of assassin.
